As much as it sucks to say it, making less than your projected demand is actually considered a good business move. Making more than you can sell eats both a) eats into your overhead, since you have to warehouse the products and b) devalues the product and eventually forces you to sell them at a loss.

True, I actually work for a company that does Media On Demand and that’s actually one of our major selling points, but there’s a limit when there’s competing products to be found elsewhere. If something I was is on backorder for 2 months and I can find a viable alternative sooner, I’ll probably hop on that ship.
