Generally something like that means there is a huge chance of return, it is low key cliche because it does not happen in everything but usually something like that signifies the character will get their memory back one way or another bringing them back into story/fight what ever. At the most it signifies she might not return as an initial character but later on into the games cycle
Two week long beta? Awesome. Wish more fighting games would have betas like this to get as much feedback as possible on gameplay and netcode. Can’t wait to use my old faves, Kairi and Shirase.
I like how SFV looks but it has a lack of vibrant colors to it. Just look at how Allen and Darun look. Vibrant. I just wish people would stop using these training stages. They should use a dojo like KoF XIII did.
Yeah Hokuto was one of my favorites, but I’ll take Shin Hokuto or whatever that is. They need to put in Nanase also. Need long dick staff girl.
Game is looking good so far. Only things I’m not big on is the jumping and crouching normals being kinda samey (which is a SF EX thing I guess), the tinny sound effects that seem directly ported from the old arcade games and the lack of hit stop or screen shakes on stuff. Game so far reminds of KOF where things hit, but you don’t really feel any of it hitting. Like when Kairi does his throw where he slams your head on the ground repeatedly, the lack of sound and screen shake just makes it seem like they’re being hit against a pillow.
Hopefully that’s something that gets fixed as that’s one of the big issues I had with the presentation of KOF XIV. Spark effects were pretty subdued and the sounds and hit stops were very weak and didn’t draw you into the game much. As opposed to games like SFV, Marvel and Tekken where the sounds and shakes alone bring you into what’s happening. Activating power storm in Marvel turns everything into literal power hits on the screen. With Tekken you can literally close your eyes and still feel what is happening. Hopefully they can fix that up before launch.
