Fighter's History Dynamite thread

I plan on being on ggpo later if any1 wants to play. Haven’t seen you on in a minute fs.

Yea ive been sick, throwing up, doctor stuff the whole shabam shrug.

ya i kind of figured that. Room been empty without you:sad:

Okay, since Portland_drama seems to have vanished (Something about his net?) I’ve decided I will try and run and online tourney some time in 2-3 weeks. I need input guys, when do you guys want this to go down?

It would be great on a sunday night.

As of now I’m back after 10:00 Pacific time so let’s get the sessions ROLLIN’

Sat/Sun is fine by me as long as I dont have a ton of school work. Then again I haven’t played in a while and will be rusty as shit. VO:OT/SF4/MOTW also taking my time and KoFXII.

I have a hard time connecting to GGPO on saturdays, so I’d prefer if this happend on sundays. But anyway, count me in. :woot:

sunday is good

Okay, so it sounds like Sunday evening is when it is going to happen. I will keep you guys posted.

Do it.

Is this series on the Playstation 2?
I mean like some kind of collection or something like that?
I really want to get on this game, i love it since 1994 but didnt have the change
to play it at high level and dont want to Mame it. Just paly it like real arcade if you
know what i mean.

No PS2 port as far as a know. You can get it for Saturn or NeoGeo though.

But if you want some high level play, come to GGPO.

yes ggpo is good…when people are on… at least graupel is always down =}

why would you want to play it on a PS2 collection if you want to play it like “real arcade”

I mean I’m all for having more versions of the game so people can play it more easily, but I’m just sayin’.

Okay, I will be having this in 3-4 weeks once my weekends clear up.

Hey Graupel, i dont know much about Online Playing but some friends says
2DF its much better than GGPO but i want to know which one is better cause i want to
get into the Online Playing. Many people talk about and says there are many high level players.
And about you Lord BHH youre right but what i mean is that i dont like to emulate games, for example
i dont know how to set the GGPO in order to run SFIII: 3rd Strike
perfect just like GGPO Video Matches so when i emulated this have some Frame skip and
its not playable like the Arcade version or PS2 version, so thats what i mean but your goal its right.

P2P kailleria or IRL is best, But GGPO comes close and has excellent competition. 2df has too many rage quitters and idiots. I should probably add that 2df does drop inputs occasionally, but you don’t have to be able to host, which widens the pool of players you can play

2df has more games available and more players, but, as Portland Drama said, GGPO has better comp and usually lags much less. But as results may vary, you really should try them both and see what works the best for you.

As for the emulator thing, it usually runs much better than console ports if you set it right and if your pc can handle it, not to mention it doesn’t suffer from loading. You might want the Saturn port for the arranged soundtrack though…

Cool.

Like already mentioned try both but I would say over all comp GGPO has the better players.
