I Just finished converting HD Remix. They should be up by late tonite on you tube since those files were smaller. I have half of SFIV converted. I’ll post up a link later.

I’m really glad you did and in due time, I’ll certainly put them (and future ones) on the Versis Facebook page.
They turned out great and you have a really nice camera. The only critique I could put out there is that I think the aspect ratio might be a bit off. It doesn’t distort watching the match at all, I think it just makes the screen seem a little bit closer to 4:3 and the characters slightly taller. Hardly noticeable at all.
Don’t stress too much about it though, they’re perfectly fine as they are and I wouldn’t want you to go through the hassle of eitehr re-encoding or re-posting.

oh yeah i bookmarked your youtube page so i can go back and watch them all more in depth, but i had fun watching Ray’s Gen. you should deffinitly continue to tape matchs in future tournaments
Oh the aspect ratio issue here isn’t something handled so much by the recording as much as it is the encoding.
Again, it’s not a big problem at all and overall things look good.
The problem should be able to be fixed either through the program you are using to set the in and out points (the editing program) or maybe even while encoding it to a format for YouTube.
mack has a tv>comp streaming thing.
as long as you have highspeed usb ports, it should record at 60ps.
why not ask him if you could use it for tournies/fight nights?
Oh, it’s no biggie… I’m just talking about a setting in preferences. Like a checkbox or an option in a list of settings. The video editing program probably thought the source was 4:3 when it was 16:9. I’ve made this mistake many times in video editing myself.
Again, this is no biggie at all and honestly, I’m very grateful for the videos. I wasn’t complaining at all, just a critique and nothing more. With SF4, because of the way the characters look anyways, the distortion doesn’t affect the viewer’s perspective at all.
Basically, the video just squashes a 16:9 into a 4:3 aspect ratio, so characters look slightly taller and the background looks not as wide. But it’s hardly noticeable and the bottom line is that Ninjetik did an awesome job of getting videos recorded and made them available super fast.
And you have to be very grateful and thankful for that because it’s a lot of work and time. It’s likely he devoted half a day to this at least.
I hope he didn’t take my message as any kind of whining because it isn’t. It was just a tip to a fellow pal, nothing more.
I’m glad he’s doing all that and he’s been more than reliable. Again, can’t ask for more than that

nah your good nick. finding the right program was the tough part. Especially a free one. Im sure i could found one on a torrent site or something but i havent used those kinda proggies in a while but the one that i did get took a whole night to code so i left my pc on downstairs on to code most of it. im still working on the other vids but yea if anyone has any good converting proggies they can hook up holla. windows movie maker didnt do it for me cuzz it couldnt recognize the .mts format
all in a im sure we can talk about it later if anyone going to versis tonite.
