Charge time for Sand Splash is pretty short already, but I wouldn’t say no to lowering it. That would be pretty badass. Sand in yo face!
The charge time for Sand Splash won’t be short enough until it’s just back-forward-attack. Then it could actually punish on reaction.
So I learned something new from Brian Kasugano’s latest combo video. You can combo Sand Splash into Please Help Me from just about any range, though to do it at long ranges you need to cancel into PHM pretty much immediately after the first projectile is fired.
The only time I use this move is when it’s done on accident, as I just can’t wrap my head around using charge moves in Marvel, but I’m going to try and change this in Ultimate considering that Sand Splash looks to have a lot more utility now.
- Using this move in blockstring for some frame trap can be nice.
- On wake up on your opponent to lockdown him
- Versus players who rush you on the ground like Iron Fist, Wolverine
- Sometime it beat tatsu of akuma
I use this move as and OTG -> to super all the time. Deff not underused :3
