YES. I opened the damn thing and found that the rubber “plate” used to press the digital inputs ripped apart (it’s really thin btw, I’m surprised it didn’t rip apart sooner due to my abusing it so much). I tried to replace it with an old Playstation plate, but the profile isn’t tall enough to work…
I’ve got 2 pads coming in with 2 PC bundles, but they don’t arrive until July 7th. On the same note, if anyone is interested in buying SFIV for PC, let me know.
yeah, same here. im thinking i shoulda been rotating them like tires, like once a week. ill pm you in a sec, so we dont turn this totaly into tech talk
I had the same problem. The only answer is to practice doing clean input THEN u push the button.I think the D-pad registers some much directions that rekkas comes out easily.
The stick requires more precision, which mean clean rekkas and flamekick inputs.
:qcf: THEN punch. Do it one by one. When they start coming first time go for the second. And then the third.
Lorte is correct in saying practice makes perfect. I had a difficult time with the Rekkas as well in the beginning. But after awhile, you’ll start getting the hang of it. One of major problems was being able to throw his BnB combo on the fly or using the different cr.lk, cr.lp Rekka string combos right off. I’d end up either stalling or just standing there throwing a series of rapid jabs in midair. lol.
It’s all about timing and patience. I’ve lost countless matches due to this problem but I didn’t let up. Basically want to get to the point where I’m moving off of reaction/muscle memory. (I play about three to four hours every night where most of it is spent in the training room).
That only works in the corner, otherwise they’re too far away. All the ones that leave blanka falling to his death after a blocked special, you can ultra punish though.
