You can do it with any FK, but :mk: provides the most damage. I think each do this much damage:
:lk: FK - 120
:mk: FK - 140
:hk: FK - 160, divided into two hits, the first being 100, and the second being 60.
So, you don’t have to use :mk:, but if you don’t and you get to the end of a round and lose it whilst your opponent has the tiniest little bit of health left, you’d be wishing you’d practiced and got more comfortable with Mk FK > FADC.
The same thing applies everytime you combo CW, cr.:lk:, st.:lp:, cr.:lp: xx Rekkas, using :hp: rekkas at the end nets you another few points of damage, that after hitting a couple of, on top of the extra 40 damage from :mk: FK FADC’s, can easily add up to about 6-8% of your opponents life gauge each round.
Can Chicken wing combo? Not including Counter hit. It says +2 on hit tho I’ve sworn I’ve been combo’d from it. Can it hit “late” for a better frame advantage?
Edit- I just combo’d it to close fp. How is this possible? +2 on hit…
Yea your totally right, I guess I never came across this as I normally don’t do cr.lp, >>> rekkas on a crouching honda, but it seems as though the cr.lp doesn’t push honda back far enough for the hit box on the mp and hp rekkas to hit him, like you said whiff as the hit box is extended past honda’s hitbox from the forward movement of the mp and hp rekkas. Weird stuff, they should definitely fix this. But still the amount of dmg that your missing out on is fairly substantial by not doing hp rekkas after a BnB on the other cast members.
Awesome, I’ll try to prcatice with MK, but like i said as I play with the TE stick, I find that motion hard.
While your at it , is it character/spacing specific? (not the 2 or 3 hit info, I know about that). For example if I slightly delay the CW, does it still send them up into the air for the Ultra?
Sorry for the questions, I work away from home for a week every second week, so I can’t try this shit out til wednesday.
Ok i am at my wits end. I am new to sf but i have good command skills. What is the deal with doing rekka’s after a jab string? I dont know the mechanics of sf. You cannot simply cancel into rekka’s correct? I think you have to delay the rekka and do them like they where a link . But i am not sure.
So the question is what is the timming to combo into rekka’s after a jab string. ( i know what jabs cancel). The funny thing is i have no problem doing jab string into super… So this makes me think that the jab string into super is a cancel.
please any reply would be great im sick of practice mode, been there for 3 days
^ i was learning his strings into rekkas today , as im still new to fei long the only thing i noticed is that you should time the rekka motion a liitle later than the jab and make sure to not overlap the inputs or anything then the rekkas wont come out , i just learned them 2day so im not a ‘pro’ or anyhting
You link the st.LP to cr.LP, not the Rekkas. Find a video of the combo and imagine that there’s a huge window of opportunity created when you do st.LP. Now, just wedge the cr.LP in there and cancel it into Rekkas.
OH thanks , its just like how you do some of guy’s stuff. so its not a chain and that makes you able to cancel down lp into rekka’s awsome thanks alot man.
Yeah see thats what i was thinking to. But its really you delay the last jab to make it so you can cancel it. like nosone said
^yh its a big shame , and to pour salt in fei longs wounds that combo does 480 damage woahhhhh if only they fixed just that 1 thing fei long would be a much stronger character
ummmm…so I know close sMP->HK Cwing works on cammy and sagat but is there anyone else it works on?..I love stupid long combos that go wall to wall, plus they do BUFF ass dmg.
