This is just a general question, but I was interested in players online experience with Fei. Like today for example I played in Endless and beat an Abel player, then he chucks me off his reason being that I “pick the same character” (well no shit).
Other experiences are like playing someone in Ranked, beating them and then re-match and they won’t play you? or beating someone in endless , moving to ranked and then they see you and remove you. Does this shit happen to you guys?
I’m trying to figure out if people are that anal about PP or if they think I’m some sort of spammer?!!
Personally, I could’nt give a shit if i lost all my points (like today i lost 500 in a row!), I just dust myself off and hit that re-match button again.
if they lost once they dont wanna chance the points on losing again, yes ppl care that much about there PP, i actually love rematches, a chance to get my lose avenged, yes pls.
also im pretty sure u have to hit the second down input on the super nosone, i miss the down input often and the ultra/super never comes out, and i drum the super cancel.
Hm, I used to do it often as a shortcut for Ultras. Maybe there was an extra input somewhere in between to make it work… I’ll try it out tonight and let you know.
rabbit, that was being discussed in one of the other fei threads, its actually not useful at all, because when ur in range to do the kara throw, u dont get farhk, u get the close version, which doesnt move u forward at all so its a kara throw that can never b used.
I’d like to know how people deal with cross-up loops. I’m having a lot of trouble against players who like doing that, particularly the Shotos. After a while, it seems the only reliable way is to read the cross-up and go air-to-air. I’ve seen Mago consistently counter the cross-ups with flame kicks, and would like to know how he manages that.
CW can be used to escape cross-up situations in many cases, but you may also get tagged for a reset (better than getting a full combo though). If it’s a late cross-up, you can dash forward or Rekka out of range of the attack. With proper timing you can also do flame kick to get it to autocorrect. Obviously autocorrection is the toughest, but also the best response to a cross-up move. In order to get Flame Kick to do that you need to input the command at the right moment when facing forward, OR wait for the right moment to do the reverse motion. Either one will work.
If cross-ups are really bothering you that much, use U2 to counter it and make up for lost ground.
often when i see someone go for a crossup, ill just input the chickenwing motion, either u CW out to safety, or it ends up as an autocorrect flamekick.
im sorry if this has been asked before , but i wanted to know if the tenshin grab can be infinitely repeated because if that is possible then that grab is broken lol .
i was wondering if all the fei longs here always combo cr.lp into hp rekkas or not , as i think its no more difficult to combo into lp or mp rekkas than hp rekkas .so u might aswell dish out a little extra damage with hp rekkas right?
Actually, if the opponent is crouching it’s a good idea to use LP rekkas as MP and HP will sometimes whiff on characters that have a small crouch hitbox like Honda.
