Hadou - I’m curious, out of the 64 names - how many were no shows? Also, any matches recorded? 
Dammit, Reno, I wanted my rematch!!! I think I had the longest winning streak in the tourney, behind HBK, after losing to Reno in the first round, and was hell-bent on revenge, but I fudged up my execution on the deciding round against Karatey’s Hawk. Playing HBK would have been nice, too, I guarantee you that much, but I wanted Reno so bad (only two matches away from it!) I could taste it – no homo.
Props to all the awesome Chuns I faced last night. I think I played something like three mirrors and all of them were fun.
Special thanks to Hadouken696969 for allowing me to play in this tourney. I sort of wasnt having that great of a day due to issues back at home that why i had to step out a couple times to get some stress off my shoulders. This event whether win or lose was a stress reliever for me and I thank you for that.
Thanks to Axel, Nipul, Jinjah, djmassif, possum, and anybody else that gave props. I thought I would have got xd out early honestly with all the top level players in here. All of the games were tough for me. Also thanks to everybody who participated and allowed for this tourney to be ran very well.

GGS to the only 2 peeps I played Freeway and Alpha-Kid. Can’t say I’m particularly proud of my performance from last night but, that’s what I get for not preparing/practicing all week long. Anyway, that’s not to take anything away from you guys, you most definitely earned your wins. Congrats to Marsgatti/hbk on the win as well as the rest of the top placers. I ran into Reno’s Honda at the finals & then had to play him again to go to the championship match to go against HBK…I thought i had enough Honda vs Gief matches i thought i could take him, close but made some costly errors…I wish i had recorded the matches.
Congrats to HBK, i would like to play you to see what could have been. Its been so long since we played but lets play on XBL, PSN is so weird haha…No offense to the PS3 peeps here.
Also thanks again to Hadouken6966969 for doing this tourney. It was bit frustrating at first & then became comical as you kept putting me into losers everytime i won…Also, i had the hardest time trying type w/ a controller…May i suggest using a chatroom next time? http://www.chatzy.com/quick.htm That’s what Silver Rain 007 uses for this WWL Tournaments…All contestants goes there & report who wins etc…Plus you can chit chat randomly while you wait for your matches…
Im planning to join more of these PSN tournies with or without a prize. Nice competition here! I just wish they weren’t Tuesdays! GGs everyone!

But anyways, congrats to all of the above guys and damn good job to Reno for making it to the finals and reppin’ Dictator…er, I mean Honda. (Dammit it str8 for lying to us! lol) BTW, nice job running the tourney Hop Vo (aka hgffdccvfggggg) and bro. Your “EVO Online Tournament” brought about a mega huge turn-out with players coming from all around the XBL and PSN woodworks despite the no-shows <*coughs>. I didn’t know you had ***nections like that.
Which reminds me, the next time you guys throw down an event I have some Japanese friends (non-SRKers) that want to get in on the action (inoxd05 and sasaki01). I bet some of you old skool PSNers forgot about them! Then we can really get our “We are the World, Warrior Justice League” on <*cough, again> with respect to Silver Rain of course!!!
Yeah, I agree with BaklaKiller, use the chatzy.com to create the chatroom since they have no fixed limit of how many people can be in the room simultaneously. Whereas PSN has a 16 friend limit per room and you have to jump around between chat rooms 1, 2 and 3 to respond. Plus with chatzy, everyone can interact all in one spot.
Also to my XBL friends playing and typing on PSN, just use a regular Keyboard with a USB. Typing on pad sucks!
yeah i couldn’t make it either. my in laws are in town and i’ve been entertaining them. sorry for saying I would play and then not showing up. it’s not like i would have won anyway lol.

wow I can’t believe that I missed this tourney :(. It sounded like a lot of fun, I’m in Vancouver right now visiting my fiance but I thought I would be able to sneak into the tourney by going to a friend’s house and play on his ps3 but I had to watch the opening ceremonies at my fiance’s friend’s place. Oh well, I won’t be missing the next big tourney.
