Lately it’s been the Sun Chips for me…specifically the Monterey Jack & Sundried Tomato version…they have this in the snack machine at work, and I only recently discovered the greatness of this after 1 desperate morning of starvation where I had no breakfast.
My other usual stuff…time for another longer-than-necessary post:
-banana nut muffins…brand doesn’t even matter that much.
-bananas…but only if I have something to drink with it, preferably a soda. For some reason, bananas with no drink afterwards occasionally makes me want to puke later, even though I like the taste…it’s something about the texture of this food that I have a problem with.
-Tortilla chips—> Tostitos, Santitas and Doritos for me. Great thing about Santitas is the cheapness…a bag of this stuff has been locked at the $2.00 price point for YEARS. With so many other food items going up lately, it’s STILL 2 bucks!
-peanut butter sandwich—the brand is always Jif for me; extra crunchy. Other PBs are ok and tolerable, but not quite as good as Jif. Sometimes I’ll put honey or jelly with this, but it’s not always a necessity. I love PB so much, bread isn’t even needed all the time either.
Candybar category (though it is rare I eat these lately):
-Payday, Snickers, Baby Ruth and Twix for me…nothing else is on the level with these elites. Of these, I consider Payday as probably the frontrunner. I also love the Sunbelt granola bars (specifically the Oats/Honey one), though that’s probably a slightly different category of candy.
Also… Triscuits (regular)… I could eat truckload of those things.
------------One nasty snack I’ve never understood the appeal of----> Beef jerky. This shit doesn’t look appealing to me at all…it looks like a shrink-wrapped turd from a small animal.
Funyons too… I can’t get over the smell. It’s one of the nastiest food smells I’ve ever encountered…it’s like the smell of some kind of moldy, rancid food + an unwashed, moist booty-hole.
Funyuns or Pringles with a cold Coke is always satisfying to me.

I love Combos (ha ha ha). Especially the new jalapeno/tortilla flavor they came out with recently. Those are tasty as all hell.
Can’t go wrong with the classic Pizza flavor tho.

There’s always been cracker Combos. The two most common ones that come in both cracker and pretzel are cheddar cheese and pizza. Some (like the aforementioned jalapeno) are either one or the other or something different.
