Alpha 2 and KOF 96. The soundtracks of these two games are really fantastic and timeless. Nothing comes close after all these years. Also, being a fan of Ive’s music, I’ve got a soft spot for Eternal Fighter Zero’s bgm too, especially the remixed ones in the memorial dvd edition of the game.

I think the song itself is boring but the intro is great. I like the '95 version much better.
Very unique track. Memorable, and one of my favourites from KOF '96. Also, Goenitz’s BGM, although can get a bit repetitive, is a monster of a song.
Agreed for Rolento’s stage. I’d like to add Sakura’s stage, Sagat’s secret stage (especially the Sega Saturn remix) and Zangief’s. Also, of note is Gen’s stage. Now I’m not a drummer but the drums on that track really stand out for me.
The aforementioned Korea Team BGM, in addtion to Psycho Soldier and Ikari Warriors are all top picks. Out of the KOF soundtracks, with being '94 being my favourite, KOF '95 comes a close second.
Well spotted. The first 5 seconds in are the perfect introduction for the track, which is so incredibly fitting for Rugal.
For me, every track on the KOF '94 OST is incredible.
I recently decided that this was the best KOF '98 track.

Question: anyone notice that Garou MOTW’s B.Jenet BGM is very similar to Fatal Fury 1 Duck King’s stage? I haven’t listened to them side by side or anything, but the resemblance was pretty striking.

And I friggin forgot Duck Kings FFS music! I love that track, and the background is one of my favorites-actually, FFS had some cool nightlife backgrounds, same with AOF…
And yup, I also like Charlotte’s and Nakorurus music. Good choice!

A favorite of mine has always been the Weaponlord Soundtrack. Especially Zarak’s theme. Hearing that booming out of a stereo while the Warrior’s moon rose during the battle is one of my all time favorite Fighting game moments.
…That game deserves a remake or sequel.
