The fact that the only thing you have to say about our play entails complaints about someone getting hit with something that’s not too hard to avoid is extremely arrogant. This isn’t Japan and we’ve only got the game for like a month or two. There’s also a problem with finding comp and getting match up experience, it’s not like we all live near each other, so chill the fuck out dude.

Why is Gilgamesh supposed to be so broken again? I’ve seen a few gamechariot vids, but he’s getting beated most of the time. If I’d be afraid of any character, it’d be Rin with that nasty-ass 4-way mixup.:wasted:

Make sure you’re not hitting the ‘Peculiar Parameter Up’ button. It’s at the bottom of controller settings, if you want to check.
Everytime he pokes you in Babylon mode you have to guess. Unless you’re right in his face, I don’t think too many people can poke with him. His throw mixups are RETARDED. Chains make him damn near unapproachable. He can zone you with almost everything he has. If you can actually do his advanced combos, he can infinite you off of almost any hit if you’re by a wall. I can only imagine Rin and Saber giving him problems, but everyone else gets pillaged for free. Go watch some of the latest a-cho matches and you’ll be quickly reminded about why he’s #1. 
So who’s gonna be playing this at FR?
Rin’s 4-way isn’t that strong. Her j.B doesn’t track so you can SS it fairly easily.

it works so long as i dont get random chains or jumps.
I use 641236B9 or 646B9.
623A is a good launcher =)
I do 412369 for the TK, which has a pretty fluid and distinct motion and timing to it, so it’s not too hard to get it down. Sometimes though I get random jumps, uppercuts, or chains with this method, but that all depends how you fuck up the input.
Your method sounds better though since it has less inputs. Too bad I can’t try it out since my PS2’s dead. :sad:
Sooo I played this for the first time ever yesterday on my friend’s PS2, and played it for a good 4-5 hours straight. And I gotta say this game is LEGIT. Wow, I mean I thought Melty Blood was okay, but I never reaaaally got into it. But man, this game is pretty fucking fun.
