yea and shirou is quite easily the most easy pick up charcter into FUC…he has everything you need for mixup in one dash…lol… beserker is easy he does alot of damage for not alot of work…lancer is easy… it looks easy but it’s not… i tried those combos… fast falling jbs, tk dps, although in a sense… his 2c has massive range… he has good range… and that leads to his bnbs… but he really dosen’t have mixup…(no real overhead)…
I guess if no one else decides to I might do it later. It’s really just you owning some guy who can’t do combos for 10 matches :shy:. But you’re doing that air Gates super combo wrong and it annoys me!
Hmm… well, they are easy when you compare to what you have to do with other characters. I’d say the hardest part for me right now is getting consistent 214a/b/c-c loops on the corner, since the spacing and the button I need to press keep fucking with me. I am pretty confident on the 6239a > 2369a > etc portion of the combo.
I personally do 6239a > 2369a > 236a > 2c > 236a > 236a > 2c > wind super > 214c-c into corner combo reps or into j.b j.c > 6239a etc, depending on my meter and my opponent’s meter.
Unless they aren’t near the corner. On there I still need to work on that… I am not sure if I should 2c > wind super, run up 2c > 623a > j.b j.c or 2c > 623a > 6239b > RC etc(Still need to test this).
Er, I was, but you don’t need to tap 22 to use the runes(if that’s what you meant) after 236A and 623A, you just you just need to tap A or B, or C but I don’t think C is fast enough to link afterward.
I was at a small F/UC gathering earlier this week. Check here and look for videos labeled with 1.7.09. We’re still pretty new to the game so don’t expect anything over the top by any means. I drop my Dark Saber corner combo of destruction a number of times even though I’ve been grinding it like crazy. shrug
i do the same pretty much… with 214… i do 214c-c 214a-c … but usually i mess up around there… cuse i keep watching vids of them doing at least two more … before they reloop it again… with mid screen after 6239b… possibly 6239 c… i know i’ve seen some in combo vids when they mid screen…
I think I’ve seen a match video where it almost looked like 236a got cancelled into 236236a somehow without any trace of RC. Just wondering whether or not I saw that right.
It’s nice to see that some of the THEORYFIGHTING that me and Voomers did a while ago works like ambiguous 214b RC crossups. Also, if you can’t do the 623a > 2147a > activate tk after j.236c, just do like 623a > activate or even just activate after j.236c. Almost anything you can do to make Dark Saber combos harder is easily omitted and still works.
Also, you can pretty much buffer 236236b during the activation pause so it comes out immediately and won’t make the combo go invalid. But keep in mind that midscreen its better to just go for 236b > 236236a then to use Dark Slashes at all.
Well you can’t do 6239c after 6239b, you can RC it though or you can do the follow up. I don’t have the game with me at the moment or else I’d check some of these things. But yeah, for the corner loop I am still not too sure, I can get 4 reps before I get pushed back too far. So far I’ve been alternating between doing 2147a-c, 2147b-c after the initial 214c-c. But, I’ll see how well it works if I alternate with 2147a-c and c-c as you do… Maybe b-c, c-c? I have seen some videos where they do it like 10 times, I should probably pay more attention to what move they are using.
