Any more gameplay vids of the console? (i.e. gameplay of the new chars) Saber Alter seems good cause she can do unporated super combo, but from what I’m seeing Bazette and Liz can’t do it. (No clue of Zero/Lancer)

I havent worked with 228c much with Archer…but I haven’t gotten the results I wanted when I was trying.

Personally I want someone to explain Archer’s caladbolg combo that incorporates
juggling with the spammed 2cs. No matter how often I watch vids of it, I’ve yet to pick up on exactly what is happening after they launch their opponent and go to switch to bow mode.

I am assuming its 228c , and that’s why I am asking someone to shed some light on the subject.

It’s mentioned on the wiki. To do the 2c juggle after the bow switch you have to do it as 2c82c82c82c82c. The actual caldabolg is just j.236a j.236236a

Actually now that someone’s better at TK 22 inputs has appeared, is there any easier way of doing Luvia’s 623a 22C? I’ve played around for a couple of days, but cannot for the life of me get it to combo without it black beating.

Like I get how to do the 228c off of 623b = it’s input on hit to cancel that hit just like a jump cancel and it immediately allows him to switch to the bow, cutting the animation on the 623b short.

But for some reason it doesnt seem to work the same way on 2c. When I input
82c on hit, the first hit isnt canceled. And I for the life of me cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

So can someone please expand, describing to the best of their ability how and when they are inputting each “82c” on Archer’s crouching bow juggle?

Try doing it like 28c instead of 82c. I think I heard it wrong the first time

Kirei’s black keys are godlike, if you’re not using them for pressure then your Kirei is gonna suck.

I disagree. His stomp is great and has HELLA range, tracks SS, and leaves them open for combos on hit and guessing games on block. Rekka mixups are good as well. TK Keys on wakeup are great, but goodluck using any other key move against Rin/Shiro/Saber/Luvia/other short ass bitches. They can duck the horizontal ones. Shiro can even combo you if he predicts it, and he doesn’t even have to SS. His command run goes under it for free.

I think that the keys do round out his pressure, but are by no means a determining factor to if your kirei is gonna suck or not. Kubo rarely uses keys outside of combos and he has LOTS of success with Kirei.

Well I do admit that I might have exaggerated a bit on the strength of the Black Keys, but its still good for full screen pressure, it helps you get in easier. I am aware that some characters can just duck under the keys but that doesn’t mean that you should not use them at all against them, you can tag those characters during projectile start up with keys for counter hits or use keys as pressure to stop the opponent from doing long range projectile spam or keep them from running in. I guess you can play Kirei without using his keys as pressure, but I think its too good of an option to not use, it replenishes after every round so why not?

I agree with you about 22C being good, I love this move because its an angry ass stomp, but it is in no way a good move to spam because of it’s slow start up. Its an easy counter hit for the opponent if they see it coming. I mainly just use it as oki when I score a knockdown and do mixups off of that.

I unlocked Survival Mode when I unlocked Zero Lancer in Arcade Mode.

The VS. screen picture is beat the standard survival mode with the character, which is 16 matches. After you beat standard the first time you have the choice of picking standard and endless
