I understand that you have to do like 22C to get ready to throw, then like B to grab and sit on them, then another button press to shoot or slap or slam them, but then I don’t understand why they list like 10 buttons for it

I would like to know something. People are talking about the “Jump Cancel” but i really don’t know what is it.
Can someone please explain me how to perform it , and show me in a video what’s the result of it?

You do the move , then do a jump
is that the moves like 2369 + a button or like 62369 + button ?
But what’s the effect and in which conditions can we perform that ?
The move has to be jump-cancellable, it’s pretty simple. You either can do it after a move or you can’t.
Jump cancel just refers to doing stuff like air combos. Like Archer’s sword air combo is j.A j.B jump cancel j.A j.B j.C. So to do that you would do the j.A and j.B, then double jump and the rest of the combo.
Those tiger knee motions like 2369 refer to another whole engine quirk in the game usually. From what I gather from google translate when you tiger knee a ground move, you get the move then an immediate jump cancel. BUT when you do something like 2369a > 236b or whatever, you get the first move then an immediate jump cancel, however, when you do the next motion it CANCELS the jump cancel and gives the next move. So you end up canceling the recovery of the first move so you can get the second move out faster :looney:

The game looks great and has a lot to learn. Japanese players are very impressive when you see the combo and the command it doesn’t seem to be easy to do it.

Well at least Illya is may be in the game.
I’ve notice 2 things. First of all , we all saw her in the last trailer.
And 2nd thing if you go in the Arcade mode of the official site , you’ll see a comment about Illya in Berserker’s characters presentation ( just click on him and you 'll see )
and this wasn’t there before i have the proof so i am 100% sure about that.
So i believe she will be playable in the PS2 version.
that’s only my own thoughts, i don’t like rumors so wait and see.
She is in the game. Beat arcade mode and you can play as her!
