You can actually normal activate out of that without a burst, it just so happens that 138 had no meter and that combo doesn’t give alot of meter to the receiver.

Man I don’t understand how any of you guys can stay interested in this game. Jokes aside, is it really just the anime connection that keeps this thread alive? Watching vids is incredibly boring, one dude touches another dude, combos him for a while > Next mixup and long-ass combo. Some bursts or whatever interspersed in between. I just don’t get it.
I’ll admit, the only reason I’m interested is because I’m a type-moon fanboy.

I can stay interested in this game because it has a release date. I have that day to look forward to and to try it. All the other games are basically a long ways away and this is basically the only thing I’m waiting on. The game is getting a lot of play too.

Originally, to play Sakura and Luvia, yes, it was ‘the anime connection’, but after seeing DS play some great zoning / keep away, and Luvia doing body splash and comboing into command grabs, I just can’t wait to play it.

i will play this game for various reasons:
a) i liked the anime, it was good
b) i love the fighting games, so i try to play every fg in the market to give it a try
c) the game looks fun, it reminds me to rival school for some reason
d) the wait for BB and KOFXII its too long, i need something to entertain me, yes i have GG and HNK but i want something fresh for a change
