sup guys, i’ve been going to ffa for 10 years now and love it. it’s my favorite place for american h2h cabinet 3s. long live arcades.
just wanted to remind players that if a button is broken, report it instead of pounding on the machine then going outside to smoke.
FFA is one of the first places I visited when I got my driver’s license. You guys are great and I can’t thank you enough for fighting through the tough times to keep this important SoCal landmark alive. I wish you many more years of great business.

I’ve been working like a dog lately and I’ve been meaning to post on all the other related forums (dreamcancel, testyourmight, homingcancel, dustloop, etc.) but I just haven’t had any time. I definitely don’t want to clash with Alex’s Arcade for tournaments, so I’m sure we can work something out. I’ll look at your guys’ schedule and put our tournaments around it accordingly.

for SSF4 AE, sessions can be held on Tuesdays as well as Thursdays.
or you can just post whenever you’re coming down and want practice.
VALLEY HEADS: start coming thru more often so we can get BETTER players consistently showing up to practice.

Good old family fun. Standing outside at 2 in the morning again, how wierd. 
And I wouldn’t say FF “spawned” most of those players but we definitely played a lot here. Good games everyone, first time I’ve actually played AE really against anyone.
I like when you’re standing outside after closing and Tim leaves for the night, and the street sweeper comes, and you’d rather be there standing in the cold parking lot talking about Street Fighter then driving home.
Too bad FFA doesn’t have XvSF:(

Man, I remember when you moved to town you bastard guy. No one played XvSF until then. After that it became like the most popular game there next to MvC2 and 3s. I’ll be hitting up FFA most likely the Monday after Revelations since I’ll be in town the whole week. I’ll see whoever’s there then.

We had a good turn-out, 24 people. Congrats to Hugo101 for getting 1st place!
The next tournament (S1.1) will be on June 18th. Be there!
P.S. REMEMBER if you’re going to the MK9 tournament tonight (starts at 5pm), please BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER! The game will be held on PS3, I’ll be able to bring some pads, but we will not be providing any joysticks!
good games last night
It was a good turnout for the tournament. StriderZer0 recorded some matches and we got some commentary, too. Hopefully this will pave the way for some great regular Mortal Kombat tournaments!

wow, its ralph, such a fossil in this community. first visited ffa somewhere around 1993 and played in your SF-ce monthly tourneys! thanks for all the years of fun and friendship buddy. good luck to you and much continued success. youre a huge staple in the fighting game community and your support throughout the good and bad times of arcade gaming in socal is much much appreciated.
