i’ll be able to make any gathering that gets switched to a friday night, but that’s not much

I hate that A. I found this thread the week before fall semester starts >:( and B. Because of school starting I’ll probably be working weekends >:( But now I know I have something to look forward to if I get one off. How much longer will these be going on for?
P.S. I go to RIC and plan on looking into trying to set up something weekly there since I’m going to be spending most of my time there.
I dunno there’s definitely been a drop in attendance. So Im not too sure what’s up. Is the day not good anymore, is it too often, do we even like these games, is it the beer? Its just something to ask because I know the level of comp isn’t as good as Boston which its why its important that people just show up and grind it and keep adapting because we don’t pull numbers like they do.
There’s a new local game store that opened up somewhere in RI called button mashers that old smash friends held a tourney at I think. Probably not on GU status though. But as you know I keep it real poverty. Is that something I should look into? I need some feedback.

Well for me its less about the date and time that is an issue, its that my brother and friends are all too lazy to drive me. Its not an easy drive from RI to fall river and they are apprehensive about gas and other expenses like that. . . so thats why my attendance has slacked. I do love what you have been doing though, and you should keep it up because the minute I am able to drive I will be over there every saturday lol. As for buttonmashers, I just found out about it and I haven’t been able to go over there and check it out. Seem’s nice though lol
Well, for me, I’ve been living it up in my new found unemploymentness and actually making it to tournaments. As you know I went to PWA, GU, and now this Fall River one tomorrow. Most of the tournaments are on Saturdays so I dunno. (like 3 a month now…) But its whatever you want, I won’t be going to every one so whenever I have a free day and you’re running something I’ll be there.
But really, I think it was Evo, then a few canceled weeks and then people just forget. Keep this going every week and it’ll build back up again, I think. Habits bring people.

Saturdays used to be fight night for me, but then it turned into date night. And today I have to to 2 models for an interview, and hit up my friends house in Providence for her birthday cook out, (cook in…?). It’s not that I lost interest but life in general gets in the way. I just wanna play vidyah games dammit. 
From the looks of it NE pretty much got a circuit going meaning there’s a tourney every week which is what we all wanted right?? So I don’t know how everyone feels about Fridays being the new day?

For me it has either been date night or the weeks I intend to show up there isn’t a gathering due to a tourney or something. Unfortunately Friday does not work well for me because I work late that day. My best days would be tuesday or thursday. Also, I could drive any RI people out. Gas money would be cool. I live in East Providence so let me know.
Edit: My work is seasonal so I will be back in there sometime this fall.
fridays would be great for me actually. . . .and i know a certain asian kid by the name of Asianmanz who would be very excited if it was on fridays
