I love how many news outlets reported this information without even having a clue as to what they’re doing.
That Twitter account is a fake. I can’t believe that people took this news as something serious…

Hudsonsoft is now a subsidiary of Konami, essentially they no longer exist so… News would have came from them.
Not only that, but the account was created in March when news of Hudson’s and the proposed BR2012 project’s demise was released. Some stupid RPer made the account and just trolled the entire fighting game community hard.

Being a subsidiary doesn’t mean they stop them from being their own entity. Marvel and Pixar continue to due their own thing while being own by Disney. Likewise, Taito continue to pump out Space Invaders stuff and arcade hardware like normal while being owned by Square Enix.

Even so, it was Hudson Entertainment - The former NA branch of Hudsonsoft - that*** was planning to ***develop the Bloody Roar 2012 project (which would have been a spin-off game that was to be download able on XBLA and PSN) and Bloody Roar 5 (they were two separate things) prior to being terminated.
The point still stands, Bloody Roar 5 isn’t happening as of now and that Twitter account is a fake. Nobody should believe any of this.

WTF How Would You Know If It’s Fake Or Not Do You Spy On Every1s Twitter? Obiously If It Made It 2 Articles Must Be True Have You Actually Contacted Hudson Or Something About It? Oh no!!! It’s not like we bought stocks or anything, lol…

If this fake twitter account gave the series some attention and gave an opportunity for actual BR players in the know to clear some misinformation about the different installments, then I guess it did more good than harm at the end.

Of course there isn’t anything about BR5 on the home page, it just started and there is nothing to show.
