He didn’t stop being godlike, he just stopped playing MvC2. Play SF4 for an hour and then go back to MvC2 and do something. Your fingers will fell retarded. After playing a bunch of MvC3 I decided to try and go back to MvC2 and just do with Cammy ground chain, launcher, magic series xx cannon strike xx killer bee assault and it took me like 15 minutes to do it.
