I simply cannot fathom the logical leap to homicide as a punishment for cheating when it’s anyone else involved other than family of the wronged partner. Family can act quickly at drawing lines when it comes to disputes over cheating, which is one of the reasons I say it’s best to keep them left out of it, especially when children are involved.

Homicide, much like sex, is hardly a matter of cold logic though. Even a lot of the more callous homicides aren’t really “logical” when you look at them, at least in terms of being able to get away with things long-term and often doing it for immediate, short-term and usually ill-thought “rewards”. Killing someone for cheating seems even less so really due to “passion” and all that bullshit that I’m still glad I can’t feel.

I am not supportive of those people getting executed for this however I can understand why some countries would penalize them with execution. It is fact that infidelity can spiral and affect allot of people, i have known kids who ended up going into a life of trouble due to falling into the despair of what happened, i even knew a guy who killed himself because of that and because of the plausible harmful affects it can cause to the lives of other people i can understand the justice. I’m not saying I condone it but… people really need to pay for their crimes against others and if a person destroys the lives of others because he/she just got horny then there should be justice.
I’ll give you a true story: here in the US, the justice system is seriously stupid and men will lose their case to a woman no matter how innocent they are. If a man cheats on his wife, we all know he can get in serious shit with that, but if a wife cheats on her husband the penalty is not as bad. If a wife cheats on her husband, not only does she break his heart and cause him an amount of despair but she will likely take all his shit at the same time. In a sense, infidelity can be more life threatening for a man since he will be tackling both emotional pain and financial difficulty. I recall a dude who was a real good family man; he took his kids to school, paid the bills, decent looking, and just a real positive guy… then suddenly his wife cheats on him for a rich dude. Not only did the wife leave him for the rich dude but she also took a high portion of their belongings leaving him nearly broke and homeless, she also had the audacity to leave the 2 kids with him which just added more stress. Currently he is working 3 jobs while trying to raise his 2 kids, and he physically looks sick. In terms of that, I do agree that people like his ex-wife of his should be killed or face severe punishment for the amount of pain and jeopardizing of the health of good people.
