Lobby freezing. Also got randomly disconnected from a player match, another player joined, it disconnected again, and MY POWER WENT OUT. W. T. F.
Something like this happened to me, I was stuck in the lobby view when my match started. I was trying to figure out why the character select music was still playing while I was in the lobby.
ROM feels weird sometimes, agreed. It sometimes feels/looks like only 1 LK connects on the downward dash portion, but I land and can continue anyway. Also have seen characters get color effects like being hit with Storm HP stuck on them for the rest of a match.
Also, just personal pref, but I don’t love TE stick for this game. Miss my heavy spring baseball bat stick DC Mass with heavy buttons. I’ll just have to learn to be more subtle with motions and button presses.
These are mostly just amusing. Most annoying is that searching for matches is just like HDR, so if you actually search for low-ping matches, you can’t ever connect with anyone. So if you actually want to ever play, you just have to quick match or make a lobby anyone can join, and you’re at the whim of the internet. Laggy/desyncing matches against Magneto online is maybe the least fun experience I can think of.
SF4 is so good about letting you cherry-pick matches with solid connections that this matchmaking is a disappointment IMO. Anyone have better experience with actually searching for low ping matches? Seems terrible here for me just like HF/HDR.
I think they have MAS sticks on 360. They’re about $200 though. :arazz:

Somethin is definitely up with the timing on air attacks. Doing cyke’s infinite and goin from down mp back to down lk comes out almost every time as a down mk rather than a lk. Also ROM timing like mentioned a few times earlier is kinda jacked as well. Many occasions where you delay long enough you still would get a mk to come out, but in this version it seems to really like doing lk’s instead of what should be a mk still. This is all offline so lag should not be a factor btw.

the rom infinite bug that has been recently mentioned instead of the final mk, another lk comes out, randomly ( on a side note looks pretty for a combo vid but yeah it feels too wierd imo. )

frame skip /slowdown @ the start of the match , also sometimes mid match and some animations, like storm’s LS super for example. sometimes it frames skips or comes out later than usual, feels a bit wierd.

while I was playing a friend on local, him and i noticed that sometimes, randomly the game did not recognized inputs. feels like ur character stayed still for a very brief moment.

is it me, or blocking AHVB and even HSF drones is a bit harder? ive tried to jump away and block but sometimes i’ve gotten hit in situations normally one could block like trying to protect ur assist for example. but instead i got beamed =(

- the lobby bugs ( i REALLY h8 those when they happen)
2)no switch glitch or to be honest, u can’t switch the order on the VS screen. I presume it would be troublesome to load that change all of the sudden when synching online, so that could be a valid reason not to be there.
- the assist ok makes the whole screen flash often like tilted and that can be annoying sometimes.

Yeah, I’ve also noticed what seems like inconsistent offline lag, too. I’m playing in 1080p with HDMI and my TV’s native res is 1080, so I don’t think hardware figures in anywhere.
Man I was SO excited for marvel online, that i knew i was gonna scrape down scrubs and one of my first online teams would be Mag/Juggs/Jin.
However, when i finally played, looks like they removed Jin’s s.lp > s.mp > Jin Tornado!!!
Tested on dreamcast a few mins ago, i thought i was losing my mind!

A couple things about the 360 version I haven’t seen in this thread yet:

Cable’s taunt does not continue if you keep mashing Taunt. Normally Cable spins his gun as long as you keep mashing the taunt button.

Another sound-cancel bug, Mega Man’s charge-up sound effect keeps going even after you release the chargeshot. It only stops after about 5 seconds or you start charging another chargeshot.
I hope the sound volume issue gets fixed. If I turn on my custom soundtrack on the 360, it drowns out the game audio even if I have it maxed out. Those sliders need to go to 20.
For anybody having problems with ROM, remember to adjust the input lag to low at the options. Not gonna be a miracle cure, but it will help.
Not really a bug, but the Max Meter flash is seizure-inducing. I bet some people literally have seizures, its that intense.
I just had a killer glitch happen.
I had Cable on my team with anti air assist. The assist jumps into the match as a fireball… the fireball lands, turned into yellow Ken and did a shoryuken, but using Cable’s scimitar sound byte.
I switched Cable in, and sure enough, Ken came out. He did a Fierce punch by himself as soon as he came in and then the game froze.

As many glitches as their have been I’m surprised I haven’t gotten any yet. I played about 70-80 matches yesterday, and never experienced any lag or glitches at all. I’m wondering how common this problem is going to be.
not really a glitch so much as just sloppy graphics. if you do Jins super moves (the giant robot arm) on a 16:9 tv you can see the end of the graphic, just a floating robot arm with blank space behind it.
all the lil graphic mistakes in here make me sad… the DC version shouldn’t be better looking then the update.
I wont even get into the laggy select screen and weird freezes going into any mode from the main menu.
