I’ve been catching some of it on Hulu and the story is really solid. The one thing that gets to me is the animation quality and the 90’s sound effects. This was sick as hell when I was 10, but after being spoiled by HD quality, it feels dated. Still, worth a watch for its amazing story telling for a cartoon originally aired for kids.
I dont think we had the exo squad here in the UK. Speaking of toons ive downloaded all the freakazoid eps and dling animaniacs atm. Still fucking waiting for a samurai jack conclusion ani film. Ill check out exo squad on YT.
Yeah Beast Wars was beastly. I remember watching every new episode as it came out while in college haha. They should’ve ended it there though, since Beast Machines was ehhhh.
My personal favorite episode was where it ended where Megatron gathered the Predacons to finish off the Maximals after he believed Optimus was gone and it was all western shootout like haha.
Oh man I remember that… I think that was S2E1… I remember waiting like crazy for the new season. All I can remember it’s that it was a 2 episode special and I had to leave for this party and I was all pissed cause I’ve been waiting months to know wtf was gonna happen in Season 2 and I was being taken away before I could see the second episode. Good times, good times.

Best to watch the entire thing though heh heh. It’s even better watching it again! Earlier in the episode, Megatron was posing with Quickstrike and Silverbolt as if taking a family photo LOL!

Yeah, it was awesome! It was a side-scroller with certain missions that you had to engage in a dogfight. I’d recommend trying it out, I didn’t even watch EXO Squad…my brothers did and I still enjoyed the game.

I was wondering if there were any fans of this cartoon on SRK. This series was so well made. Very good stories. Even when I watch it now, I’m still entertained.
It’s a shame we’ll never see shows of this caliber any more. Maybe if the Cyber-Six-esque werewolf animated series “Guardians Of Luna” is ever produced (shit’s taking forever)…, but anyway, nobody wants to do anything that actually requires effort or talent. It’s all a bunch of kiddy crap slapped together in flash, with goofy plots, lame voice actors, and annoying voice actresses.
awesome show! i even rented the game for genesis a few times. i had some of the toys too. i loved exo squad. mainly because as i kid i loved people piloting giant humanoid robots.
I hated how so many shows back then would end without finishing the series. They had 12/13 treasures of rule and were off to get the last one and the show ended. Lame.

Exo Squad was a great series. I’ll have to pick up the DVDs when I get the chance. Loved the Battletech series too, even if it was too short.
Mighty Max’s final episode had it loop back to the beginning so he could save everyone this time around. Lame, but technically an ending.
I came across the Exo-Squad opening a few months ago and normally i would be able to recognize this sort of shit easily, but for some reason i had troubles figuring out whether i used to watch it or not. Then i remembered certain things but i still don’t know why my memory is failing on this one because if there’s something i remember easily, it’s cartoons.
Ok you guys talked me into it. Just ordered Exosquad!! Should be here within the week.
