Ok I answered your PM, but since my answer wasn’t clear enough here: I think you do a qcf, release the MK button and press the HK button. Because of the negative edge, the game considers you did an MK SA.

negative edge - use of button release in place of button press within a command sequence; most Capcom fighting games allow special and super moves to be performed by this method

remember i had same problem. actually was my problem not with the link itself but with the arrow as it comes out EX or mk arrow when what i really want was hk arrow. because of negative-bitch. :mad:

this advice of holding buttons during plink. do special while holding. then release helped me a lot.

1 combo that was giving me nightmares was c.lp, close mp, c.mk, hk arrow. and now i land it repeatedly with no funky arrows. 100% hk arrow enders :nunchuck:
