Excuse my blashpemy, but Street Fighter IV SUCKS BALLS!

i expected better from a 27 year old than a lengthy, whiny post about a game that he furiously typed out on his birthday.:nono:

i think you should tell this story to your family and friends in the inevitable post-happy birthday singing and cake cutting banter.

It is a catchy. In a horrible kind of way.

Just because it has all of ST’s cast (except T-Hawk and Dee Jay) doesn’t mean it’s “Super Street Fighter II Turbo all over again”.

EX moves, dashing, throws whiffs and the focus attacks are more than a few tweaks - these additions change the whole gameplay fundamentally.

uMad?

:lame:

You waited for the game to come out on PC?

lawl

G G your life.

the root of the problem is you like the vs series more than super street fighter 2 turbo

ill take super turbo and SF4 over MavCap any day

lol, looks like the OP sucks at SFIV. This is easily the best fighting game since 1997, and to those who say it sucks, well, there are some people that think the Nazis were good guys, like them, you are in a severe minority group.

“You are not a warrior. You’re a beginner.”

lol, nice thread glitcher!
happy birthday!

Well, there are people who say SFIV suck and are top players at it~

I think the problem is he went into SFIV expecting something completely different. I was expecting 3rd Strike, but I was wrong and I hated the game for a while. But now, I accepted the fact that it’s not 3rd Strike and it’s not meant to replace it, so I started having way more fun with it.

No matter their skill level, they are still a massive minority. A lot of times I have noticed people say the newer games suck because suddenly they have to become good at the new game, some of the MLG people who were really good at Halo 2 said Halo 3 sucked because the sword was different, etc etc…

The only way you can be safe from retort is if you use 2 EX bars so you can FADC your opinion.

Happy Birthday btw.

I lol’d. HARD.

Theme songa I am ashamed to like.

But honestly. A lot of people got into it because its so like the old school fighters but with new graphics and ultras/supers. Its Street Fighter brought back to its basics of fundamentals and mindgames instead of executions and juggling(a ton of people like this). Honestly I didn’t like the game at first much either( feels like you are playing in jello ) but now it is my favorite game of all time. Give it some time.

Don’t know about you guys but I’d rather have a rousing match of STREET FIGHTER IV than play WOW.

I rather play one of those tiger electronics SF games than WoW (or any MMO for that matter)

WoW PvP is pretty fun but its purely team based and not 1v1 based. Also its unbalanced in the fact that the person with the most time, instead of skill usually comes ahead and is able to push that advantage with even better gear( more advantage) .

I value your opinion about SF4, but you sound like one of those 12-year old Xbox Live kiddies. Comparing games and saying it’s nothing like the game they’re good at.

“omg this is bullshit, (insert game name here) doesn’t have (insert Halo3 item here) like Halo3 does! This game SUCKS.”

I lol’d so hard

nothing to see here people, keeeeeep it moving.

I am critical of SF4, and lots of my peers aren’t exactly crazy about the game, but this is easily the most wack list of complaints I’ve seen about the game. The SF franchise represents branching progressions in fighting game design. You shouldn’t assume the VS series represents a linear progression in the franchise from which all future games should draw from.

The OP is obviously a terrible example, but I don’t think you should write off people who don’t like SF4 so quickly, whether they are in the minority or not. It’s not an objective matter.

The one and only thing I’d change about SF4 would be giving more than one ultra to each char. Something like Alpha 3.

The game is so good just because it’s similar (well, in a certain way) to ST.

If you like flashy air combos just buy blazblue
