I wish I got my turn over from 0->Rank 1 vs IglooBob. Got it one game before him, thanks to that capcom games sale maybe
And I wish biggiesmllz to never play this game again.
Also I guess we have to email Iron Galaxy to explain what happens to people who have gone over Rank 0. Like if we have done that at least once in our whole time playing this game, are we “screwed over” even if we reached rank 1 again?

I just played that biggie smalls guy lol
and why’re you trippin about rank?
This game has had a lot of console freezing problems. It would be cool if they told us ahead of time about at least 1 of them.
Biggie makes me sad
Lots of new faces tonight

Just saw yuuki’s (Economybee) Yun and damn that was some clean Keeper combo. sandy’s hugo is just too strong for me. I keep messing up inputs and end up doing lunge punches instead of shoulders. so annoying. x:
didn’t play the game for a month now it’s back to the grind. I love that it’s on sale, new blood everywhere so far.

that combo is daipan (HP) loop. I actually can’t do keeper jin even though that’s suppose to be easier lol. sandybags Hugo was difficult >__<
you guys should play on ggpo. it’s better than oe I think.
PC emu runs too fast for me. I do think it’s online implementation is better but as a port I’d rather play the slower OE
Ugh I’m so out of practice. Missing all this good action too.
May the swift Alaskan winds blow strong at the back of the plane carrying the package with my ps360+ and may the harsh Canadian customs agents leave my package alone!
I’m most likely not going to renew XBL after it runs out for me in September. I think I’ve gone as far as I can go using online as a learning tool. I want to cut the lag strike out of my life.
Supergun should be built soon for CPS3, will begin saving up for a trip to Japan aimed at late this year, and am going to focus on building a local offline scene. apparently I’ve already made some inroads as the last time I played 3s with the local SF4 and Marvel 3 community got them interested and they’ve been playing it since then. from the sound of things having an eight person 3s scene might not be unreachable. which ain’t so bad in Alaska 2013.
so if any of you fellows want some of the Bob + Alaska Internet dirty combo hit me up before September! I’ll dash teleport and do unconfirmed low short -> super when I meant to short short. right into your hearts.
I’ve been trying to find good players not because I’m good myself but rather just play against one with a higher level. Played YamakiTenryo, Sandybags, Kefkam Da Rage, Ever Dread. Maximillian and The Arena. They were all fun despite my butt being whooped.
I liked Oreja but the connection would switch left and right but it didn’t matter, I enjoyed playing against him.
I’m BackRavekiller, maybe you’ve heard of me, beaten me, or just never heard of it. I’ll keep playing 3S cause it is fun and always hype.
Haven’t gotten a chance. Took a little hiatus but notice a known player playing third strike and hopped on for an hour to find him. I did play you though, could never understood your patterns. Which is good due to my love for parrying.

I understand but I hate to see you go man. I recently started playing KoF again since a few friends of mine got interested post-evo. if you can get something going offline go for it man, beats the hell out of laggy online.
GGs to Igloo, Ryan and that Yun that wrecked me last night. Shame you couldn’t stay for longer Igloo, we had some funny Mak mirrors going, way too many dropped SA2 commands between us though = ( , hail mary Parries against Karakusa->Fierces, I got 2… High “parried” a cr.Fierce from Ryan, damn online wacky inputs. Landed a few WFuki’s, converted like 2 of them lol… Sorry to Sandybags, who was nice enough to stick around unready and watch my ass get handed to me by Ryan’s Yang (I can’t fight Twins worth a damn yet) After Ryan and that Yun/Mak left I did too, right as Sandy readied up…
Even though we didn’t play that many matches, the mirrors against Ryan really helped “loosen” my offense up. I got hit by about 80 Tsurugis give or take though lol So thank you for enduring the lag to play me Ryan = )
Hopefully the update hits before you leave us online folk behind Bob, would like to get some more “honest” matches in with you. Oh, and if you had wondered why I picked Elena’s stage the other day, it was because a friend and I went though each stage to test lag, he’s in Europe so it lags pretty bad (I had hoped it would help the lag you and I experience). We determined that the best stage for us was Elena’s and the worst was Alex’s, Yang’s or Gouki’s ( = ( ). Now when we play, it feels closer to playing someone in the states; our matches ran better than the ones we played the other day Bob… =’ (
You are in a special position Bob. Your connection with most people is gunna be at least kinda crappy. It makes sense that you’d want to cut out watered down practice as you get more serious.
Folks will be sad to see you go. At least I should get up and running before you sign off for good.
Recently tho, offline with no online has definitely helpedy game. Miraculous little reactions here and there I never knew I had.
thanks everyone. I’d definitely like to play you all some before then.
Yeah I notice if I go a week without any online play and just play offline a bunch I feel myself returning to playing well. It’s like the same feeling you get as you’re recovering from the final stages of a cold. The longer I play online my execution gets funky and my decision making/spacing take a turn for the worst. I can’t say whether it’s true for everyone but for me playing online for an extended period of time definitely makes me a worse player.
On the good side for online play I got to play a lot of you and it taught me a bunch. I don’t think I would’ve improved as much without having played you guys a lot. So I appreciate that for sure.
haha that’s funny. here are habits that I have that I’m aware of. there are probably a lot more I’m not aware of.
if I back fierce with Chun and don’t confirm into super I’ll probably hit stand fierce right after.
if I anti air jab I’ll probably look for walk up throw 70% of the time after the reset. this ends up getting punished by people who are paying attention.
if I jump out of the corner with Chun it will always be wall jump
if I don’t have any good ideas I’ll just target combo with Ken. it’s my anti air, my go to oki option, and my punish. if there was a flowchart for my 3s Ken it would have a lot of target combos in it.
