MvC doesn’t start until 8pm or so. #evo on EFNet for live updates!
TEXAS!
Yup, as somebody already posted, that’s when Korea’s top player, Maddog-Jin, who came to Electric Cancel 4 last year and destroyed everybody, got peaced out by Dom (the Ling player) 2-0. JinKid beat MDJ 2-1 in Jin vs. Jin. That’s HUGE to Tekken fans, especially since MDJ came here and took our money last year. To see him get kicked to the curb like that, especially by Ling who’s been placing high in tourneys, is exciting. It’s kind of the equivalent to Soo vs. Wong in the WC vs. EC MvC2 tourney.
Speaking of Tekken, TTT results are in.
- KBM
- Ryan Hart
- Kenbou
Apparently, Kenbou had some crazy dirty Lei/King tactics. KBM beat Ryan after Ryan beat KBM in their grudge match the other night.
Is pyrolee ok? I’ve been rooting for him and KO in 3S. I hope nothing’s wrong… I’d love to see them rep Yun SAIII. He’s been very helpful in the Yun forum. Shame
How about GGXX? ID gonna get some revenge on Daigo?

3rd Strike…
Charcters used? Super Arts used?
It was a battle to see… KO vs Daigo in the finals. It went down to the last match, Daigo held the strong lead until the end. KO’s Yun was kicking ass, combo after combo. Daigo held onto his lead with counters mainly. Both competitor went in for blood. Daigo and KO in the final round. Yun unleashed, Ken countered, and Yun killed Ken. It’s over folks, Daigo lost. KO is now the proud owner of 70% of the pot.
(Posted somewhere else earlier)
Daigo 10% health, KO 30%
End of the round, KO does a crouching SP or something, while he has the Genei Jin on, Daigo counters with a super (because he’s too 1337 for his own good), they trade, KO throws him, match over. Close match. Daigo wins the first set 3-0 (and it was domination) to put KO in the losers, Then the next set, KO wins 2 straight (and it was domination), Daigo wins 2 straight (these two were closer), and KO takes the last game
The thing with Ricky Ortiz was so crazy I don’t even want to talk about it…
All super arts were what you’d expect.
DAIGO!!! SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!
OMG Intense!Must get evo2k3 DVD NOW!
Yeah  Daigo taunted Ricky many times
Is that it ??
or was there something else ??
no combofiend this year?
HA! I knew it. All the Japanese were doing were intimidation. Sure, they might have a better start than us, but if you’re really determined you can win. Props to KO, and a great job at defacing the myth.
Let 'em fall.
-NJS-
I think you’re confused.
