I know, but you can lower the quality on justin.tv, and it will run slightly better. At least it does for me.
I don’t think that’s the case, they’re lagging out at different spots. I have a hard time thinking the problem is on JustinTV AND Stickam’s end… It’s not on my end either, I can get 2mb/sec down elsewhere.
They do it by not using stickam. Unfortunately, stickam sponsored the stream so now we are stuck with this laggy shit for the entire weekend. I can’t even tell what’s going on it’s so bad. It’s bad when simple justin.tv streams run by 10 man tourneys have MUCH better quality than the unwatchable shit we are getting with evo.
Posting currently while watching the TvC stream … this is depressingly laggy. Im hoping either stickam fixes their shit or they make the decision to head on over to ustream.

I’ve wasted a lot of my life watching streams from all over the world, and I’ve never had an issue with any of them except for evo.
yeah the stream is pretty bad. Just missed half of the mr. wizard vs. daigo fight because of the lag spikes. every “WOOOOAAHHH!!” and “OOOOOAAHHH!!!”, FREEZE. Apparently stick stream think its cool to freeze up right at the best moments.
The stream is horrid. I thought it was my connection. I imagine they tested it before they went live, otherwise I don’t know why they bother. Hopefully a fix is on the way or I guess I’ll watch these matches on youtube in a few days…
That’s what the first day is for guys, getting the kinks worked out of the stream so that it’s flawless for the important shit.

No… I downloaded the stickam app but it’s just as useless as the ustream app. No searches show up just like ustream and you can only select the streams that are “featured” and for some reason evo2k isn’t featured on the app.
Just calling this stream poor would be a vast understatement.

Yeah, this is pretty embarrassing. This is the first laggy stream I’ve watched all year, and it’s at freaking evo, it’s pretty unacceptable. But I guess it’s my fault for not going to evo.
i thought it was just me with the bad stream but i guess not. really a shame that the biggest evo ever has a laggy horrendous stream. not only that but it seems that the lag hits at critical moments so we all get to miss it lol, gotta love it. i was hoping it’d be as good as the devastation stream which was flawless and 1000x better. the commentary might have been atrocious there but the stream was awesome.
