I personally faced daigo at evo 2 years ago and he said, “Pottero is el BESTO.” And I proceeded to give him the thumbs up. Case in point, Daigo said it so it must be true. Add us to this team tourney plz <3. He told me I might possibly be his only rival in all games. Ask him…but only in spanish. It’s the only language he will speak, when speaking of his rivals.

Is Daigo even good at st? I’ve heard he knows the game but alot of people know games, being good is another story, and im not talking good, im talking pro.
i heard he’s good but not like top in japan. last vid i saw him play ST was like sbo 2k3 with ryu. his team won the whole thing i think.
Daigo isn’t considered one of the best of ST in japan. He is well respected as a great player though.
I’m pretty sure daigo is probably the greatest ever. That makes him instantly pro in japan, and instant-god in America. He said paigo is his fav american player. Psh, who can blame him??
Graham - Daigo is definitely a beast. He’s not Japan’s best player, but I don’t know if there’s anyone in America who could consistently beat him.

The purpose of this event has already been explained more than once in this thread. I would still be holding this tourney even if I weren’t participating (and I’ve offered to step down several times), because this drama (which DSP is the center of, not me) would still exist.

I just wanted to inform you guys that at the moment, I may not be able to make it to EVO this year due to personal issues, mostly because of money. I’m starting a 2nd job on Wednesday, and I already have school full-time. My cash flow has been tighter than the chic I’m banging now, and it’s stressing me out. Right now, I would say I’m 50/50, but I’ll see where I stand financially in a month with my 2nd job.
