Alex dont worry about open cabinets. IF ST isn’t on as a tourny game it will ne on for casual. So you will have two full days of ST. Plus i will be taking one of the cabs back to my room or another players room for all night ST marathons.

Graham they did last year. Kuni and Gian were around the ST cabinet the whole weekend. Im guessing it will be the same again this year.

All of my tournaments will be recorded. Im unsure as to what we will do with the footage as of yet. I would like to see the Cannon’s using the footage for an additional EVO DVD disc. But if not I will release the footage for DL via a Bittorrent.
I’m not sure if the idea has been posted already, but you can give up the round robin idea and just do 5 on 5 like the SBO finals: first guy from each team plays, loser is done, winner stays and plays next guy on the other team, until one team is gone. Since this format is extremely faster, you can make it 10 vs 10, or 15 vs 15 even.
Sure, you can argue one way is a better indication of more fair or not a fluke, but it seems like a clear, FAST way to everyone to get a “revenge” match in and test which team is clearly better. If the old schoolers are willing to do it in this format, there’s no reason why the new schoolers shouldn’t agree.
Ben - For the sake of actually finishing this event and including as many people as possible, I’m down for your idea. Using that format, we can do NorCal vs. SoCal, NorCal vs. new school, and SoCal vs. new school, and it probably wouldn’t take more than an hour or two (if we have everyone there together).
I’ll leave it up to NorCal and SoCal to determine their five-man teams, but who should take DSP’s spot if he can’t make it? Should we have a play-off?
