What i gather from all this is NKI’s tourney isnt sounding to hot right now. On the other hand, DSP has offered to take Watsons bet. This tourney sounds a lot more pleasing. So why not NKI and DSP work together to make that happen instead of previous mentioned 5v5.

The most I could put up would be $75, but is that enough? (By the way, I never doubted the skill of the Wolfe bros., it’s just that I’ve just never seen them play ST before.)
DSP - I totally understand what you mean, and that would suck if you did amazingly well, went 5-0, but still lost your money because the rest of us lost our matches. So how about this…everybody puts up $75, and if you lose a set, you have to pay $15 directly to the person you lost to. That way the amount of money you make/gain is not affected by how your teammates perform.
Cole - maybe I missed something, but where did DSP and Watson make any kind of bet?

I have to make an important announcement or else I’d be irresponsible:
Due to the fact that I just lost my job (and it’s related to ECC, if you can believe it), I may or may not be attending EVO this year. It’s all going to depend on how soon I can find another one, what the pay will be, etc. Up to this point I had not expected to lose my job and I would be at EVO 100%, but now to be honest it’s not looking very well, since I’ve already spent over $1000 on ECC out of my pocket, and I didn’t expect to lose my income all of a sudden.
I would advise NOT planning any events around my appearance at EVO, because right now I’m probably not going to be able to make it.
Too bad DSP. There are so many ppl that are gunning to knock you down a peg or 102981028971.

I gotta say the others who showed up which i didnt list did very good, bradford mcdermott pulled out a very good old guile and nick ballatine (spelling) had a nasty vega too. the tournament was too small for them to show their ability but they played well before tournament and during, no one got mopped except for nelson when i played him at top of the winners bracket. Choi didn’t enter cause he didnt like the sticks on the machine Shrug

The only thing I can think of right now is dropping it down to a 4-on-4 (because it looks like Watson and DSP won’t be participating), and going back with the original $25/head.

My bro and I have always gone 50/50. He just won one more round than me both sets. The reason this happens is because you’re only as good as your competition but you know this from the Thomas days =) Plus its a very balanced match dhalsim v balrog with a tiny advantage for dhalsim.

I was actually pissed NKI beat you cuz I wanted to see some dhalsim mirror matches to see who was the uber-dhalsim. Gian had a motherfucking impressive looking dhalsim on vids. He’s got some tricks that i’ve never seen before.
