If you’re going to have Vampire Savior:Darkstalkers 3, will it be on arcade format? Also out of curiousity what hardware do you guys usually use at EVO (since I’ve never been to one) for MVC2, Dreamcast or arcade?
I’ll echo some earlier posts in this thread: It’s not on the list, but I believe Garou: Mark of the Wolves would make an excellent addition to Evo. I think there would be more than enough support to justify holding a tournament for the game.
No doubt about that. Rumblefish is a game that really deserves a chance, but due to the lack of popularity, I don’t think you’re going to see it for awhile, if at all 
KOF’02 all the way.
Vegas has an Alpha 3 scene, and obviously I vote for A3 as well.

And stop bitching about games!!! SSBM isn’t hosted by EVO Team anyway so SRK people shouldn’t care. Plus, i’d rather have SSBM as oppose DOAU or MKD, atleast SSMB takes skill to play regardless of characters. Forget i said that, its just my opinion, im not gonna argue with anyone, specially since its not my thread. So just keep it moving.
Vampire Savior. I think A3 would be a train wreck from what we’ve been seeing on the boards. But maybe lots of people and a train wreck is better than 30 people running smooth.
Vampire:Darkstalkers Collection comes out in Japan soon. That’d make 2 games for Import PS2 (along with #R). Get some Asia/Japan PS2s and go with it.
Personally…i would love to see KOF03 and Mark of the Wolves make it to this list as well as SNK vs Capcom Chaos.

KoF 2002. I’m not well learned in the KoF scene but I doubt that their have been any KoF(2002 at least) tournaments with enough pull to bring in players from Asia, Latin America and Europe(?) to one spot that is neither of those countries. Also there needs to be an SNK fighter represented.

Because there is no real competitive SNK scene in the states. THE ANSWER is trying to sort that out along with his friends, but when it comes to going to tournaments, SNK fans just don’t bother. That was proven at Texas Showdown 5 when only 6-9 people entered each SNK title. I can’t remember the exact amount, but it was around that. With such a low turn out as that, why should Evo take that risk and say it’s happening? Hell Evo last year had an SNK tournament in the BYOC area, and that had a low turn out.
As much as I like SNK games, it seems that the players don’t care about them tournament wise.
Thats true. In TS5 there were 9 players and I was one of them. But remember this is EVO we are talking about. I wil take about 20 players from SoCal so there will be plainty competition for the rest of the US. Also the Japs are going so it should be alot of fun
And remember anything can happen at EVOLUTION

The differece between TS5 and EVO is the location. 95% of the people couldnt go for legal issues with the immigration department, most of the top players are straight from Mexico so when we found out the Texas immigration laws we didnt want to risk anybody so only my self and a friend was enough to take the top spots.
There are no issues with immigration when going to Vegas we go all the time, so there shouldnt be a problem this time.
IYou got to have Kof’02 at Evo due to the fact that i didn’t go to texas showdown, but i will make the effort to go to Evo for 2k,soulcalibur,and CVS2. If kof’02 os there i’m taking at least 10ppl with me from texas so kof is a must for evo.

Well finally the Texas people are starting to show up. It sounds like a for sure thing so we are already making plans of being there. Now we just need to convince MrWizard to have it on the AES, their are just like super nintendos just slightly bigger.
And if you take 10 people we can do TX vs CA last man standing.
go for it dude i want to take more ppl , but it all depends on them most ppl were to busy to attend TS5. I’ll try to convince more ppl to come like i said we r allot it just depends if there willing and able to go.
