Even though the EVO team isn’t running them, you can include SSB:M and Halo 2 into the definite games list.
As to complaints about DOA:U and MK:D, I think that if a fighting game has the audience, EVO should let them show everyone else what is good about the game. Daigo last year showed why SF3 is so amazing and why you should be playing. Who is to say that someone won’t show the same thing in DOA or MK?

1.DC3-somthing new & different to evo dvds plus I think its pretty balanced.
2.KOF02-I think this will make(or break) the US SNK gaming scene so vote for this.

MKD-GOD!this game above & beyond scruby & broke! From what I seen on live was alot of 2 button infs plus the games stiff & painfull to watch! :crybaby:

This game is deep and takes alot of skill, and has mad comp.
If it is at evo or a mlg tourny , ill enter it at vegas.
BTW i threw a Melee tourny at evo in the BYOC room last year, over 34 ppl entered, and i THINK ytwojay won, not sure.
Ok, they even have international pie eating contests and greased pig catching and shit. What the hells your point? I know enough about the game to see that it doesnt belong at Evo, ECC, TS etc. Ok wrestling games are fighting games. I think I feel like crying about why I cant play WWE Smackdown at Evo. That idea is just as whack as this guy I heard say Halo should be at Evo. It’s a tournament that started as an arcade tourny. So of course it should have arcade games or games like them i.e. CFE. Big deal a few people like Ssbm. Who cares, I havent heard any “Ev0 iS t3h SuXX0rs WiThOuT SsBm.” Cept’ for the people who cry if they cant have there way. Other than the PS2 version coming out in May or the shady DC version, they could always use an AES or MVS set up for it.
As for KOF2k2, if it should get in, it should be played on a NeoGeo (c’mon Neo owners come out of the woodwork already )AES or MVS since it wouldn’t be as much as a hassle like other arcade hardware or gameplay issues for that matter.
That is true KOF should be played on an AES or MVS, if real arcade experience is abailable why not use it my team and I will and hopefully take about 3 AES systems. IMO we are not going to need many of them since I know its not going to be as huge as MVC2 or 3S even though I wish. So if a couple more people can volunteer and bring some more systems that will be great.
Now I believe this will make or break the KOF scene in the US this is the perfect test to see how dedicated we are. From my part I will do my best to advertise it here in Cali, Im pretty sure a good number of us will go so now its up for the rest of the us to come through.
As for Garou the DC and MVS versions are totally different believe me. Amd I like the idea that BOSSES are not allowed.
Yeah I know, that’s why until it’s proven that the PS2 version coming out is based on the original MVS first version/version A, I’m stuck to playing Garou on my PC. =/
Halo will be at MLG Las Vegas, which is being run in conjunction with Evo. So is Smash and Tekken 5. And I sincerely doubt that you’ll be able to get rid of that. If so, about 300 people are going to have a bone to pick with you.
I really wanna see A3 there. Not to play. But I’ve never seen it played at a high level yet. GO GO A3 FANBOYS GO!!

LIKE I SAID, I’m not an Evo rep. It’s just speculation at this point. It could be a vote, or it could be that any game that gets enough paid online preregistrations will make it into the lineup. Either of these things COULD happen, but I do not KNOW for certain. Dumbass.
First up, I’m 20. Second, I’ve been to some 40 SSBM tournaments and I can pretty much count on one hand the people under 15 I’ve played against. Most of the competetive SSBM players are over 16 and there’s plenty of them that are over 20.
As for the whole “dissing crybabies” bit. Smash is at Evo, we’re not crying. It’s the people that don’t like Smash that are being crybabies about it.
WTF is Tekken Tag doing in the line up. Everyone is gonna be broke from being in Vegas…no one is gonna want to enter that.
I think KOF should be vote in the game is great and i love saying the japanese players play. I also want to see A3
