Kaneblueriver can definitely do some big damage at Evo, taking out some big names…doubt he will get top 8 though but he will disrupt many top 8 predictions.
Anyway it’s hard to say who will win at the moment. ChrisG probably has the biggest chance to win, but if Nemo or Kusoru come, they got a big chance too.
I agree, I am counting on you to knock somebody out of top 8 who probably SHOULD be in top 8. There’s too many people that will simply get bodied by your setup for sheer unfamiliarity.
Yeah a lot of the top players I believe are seeded at this point from Road to Evo stuff so they shouldn’t have to worry about fighting through the trenches in the pools like the majority of players. If the top players all had to fight through 2/3 pools you’d probably have to expect someone going out early. Road to Evo stuff is going to help them not have to deal with that and start getting into the more solid 3/5’s in semis.
Still, if Evo is like I think it’ll be, there’s going to be a lot of interesting stuff coming out of pools.
The problem with Evo is that there are probably at least 15 top-8-worthy players. I’d say ChrisG, FChamp, JWong, and Flocker are the closest to being sure picks for top 8.
Pools are 2/3 so they are gonna be random as shit. After that you can probably start making accurate guesses.
