btw the comic con badge line was serioulsy 3/4 mile long, i said funk dat and try it another day

This is a given at any Evo.
Evo staff told me not to worry about the printout…only time it would be used is if by some weird mishap you aren’t in the brackets…other than that you don’t NEED it as confirmation to play in the tournament.

who are the people running EVO WEST?
so i was wondering what, if any, the prizes are going to be for west besides the qualification for semis at world?
Okay, it’s 3:43 am and I just got home from SD. Traffic is a bitch so I’d recommend leaving 4 hours early to be at least 2 hours early to whatever you are trying to get in line for (movies included)
I did get to check out the game industry panel, talk to them afterwards, and even had the chance to hang out, drink with them too (by sheer luck/coincidence) I’d recommend checking out other panels that is going on for those interested in getting into the gaming biz.
anyway…
I even checked out the Omni Hotel (around 2 something am) and asked about the venue. What many probably won’t find out until they read this, or are told when they get there, the tourney is NOT BEING HELD @ THE HOTEL ITSELF, but at the building ACROSS THE STREET (which is part of the hotel) So please keep that in mind. Finals for ST will be held at the Capcom booth in the main hall at the Comic Con/convention center, but no 3S.
I asked Capcom’s senior director about the finals and the games being played, but said that Seth (Mr. Killian himself) was in charge of that. I couldn’t ask him because at that time the con was closed, but will ask him what’s up tomorrow.

Will we be able to park at the Omni Hotel? Or is that shit too packed already for SDCC?
I suggest getting there early and parking at the petco park parking its right next to the Omni hotel and its only $10 bucks.
The registration sheet that was for you to print out is not needed as long as you are sure you signed up and were issued a number. The printout is only to confirm your spot, incase you were left out of the bracket for some reason.
Everything is working normally this time around, and we expect everyone that signed up will be fine and wont need a printout to participate.
