Wouldn’t you need a pass for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? You need to be there Friday to show that you’re there, you need to be there Saturday to play, and you need to be there Sunday if you want to watch or are in finals.
Do we have to be there friday to show we’re there even if we’re not entering nor watching VF5 or CvS2?
I was wondering the same, since those games are on friday. I thought you could just go in Saturday morning and bring your invoice?
Wait, so if I try to get into the omni for EvoW w/o a badge for Saturday, I’ll get the boot? I think the Saturday badge is totally sold out as well?

I’m in the same boat as Rickstah. I saved the page for Evo West to print out later, and I registered for MvC2, 3S, T5DR, and GGXX when the spots were still open. I printed out the form a couple of days later and it only showed me as having registered for only T5DR and GGXX after spots for MvC2 and 3S have already been closed off despite me registering for those games when they were still open.
So, are we screwed? :sad:
i’m REALLY confused now. if you’re planning to attend evo just to spectate and not play in the tourney, which days do you need a cc badge? and do you have to register on the evo site? i thought that was just for tourney participants.
thats my understanding of the need for badges, but you should get badges anyways cause comic-con is awesome and deserves a look around if youve never been

Just to be super clear:
The only day you need a badge is for Sunday as ST and 3s Finals are going to be inside the comic con. The other days, you will be at the omni hotel and you wont need a badge.
I dont know how so many people cant understand that.

Or can you just show up for the hell of it?

So, this tournament is free, do we really need to have a comic con pass in order to play in the tournament? I ask this because my friend registered for cvs2 but he doesn’t have a comic con pass. If you do need a comic con pass are they going to check the name of the pass? I might have an extra pass that I can lend him for the tournament.
