I didn’t realize so many people wouldn’t be able to get spots… i’ll give up my 3s spot when I’m there I guess… can you not unregister for it online?

yes. or else you could have 100 people saying they’ll give up their spots, and EVO staff would have to keep track of these 100 tranferrings, and then people won’t show up/won’t GIVE up the spots after all and it will be a complete mess.
If you were really serious about entering, you would have registered quickly after registration opened. It took almost a week for the MvC2 spots to run out, and it took over a week for 3s. I registered for ST while still AT THE AIRPORT on the way home from EVO North. No excuse for procrastination.
If you didn’t get a spot, it’s your fault. You’ll have to try to wait in line and see if you get it. But chances are, you will, because I guarantee at least 50% of the people who registered online are no-shows. That’s what happens when you do free registration.
Okay so even if I was going to EVO West to hold my side tournaments I need to get the badge correct?
Don’t give me that man. Not everyone checks everyday to see the latest news on all the events. I’m sure there are people out there that never expected it to be limited registration (myself) so didn’t think it was an issue.

You’ll only need a badge or Day Pass if you’re going into the comic-con/convention (Sunday finale). So your side tournaments at the Omni/Hotel are safe?

Okay I’m a bit lost on something.
As you all know I come mainly to hold my SNK side tournaments so I have to get a clear answer in regards to this.

In regards to the BYOC room-

But yet I scroll down the page and with the Tournament Schedules section I see the BYOC room open from 6 PM to 11 PM on Friday also??? 
Which is it? I do need to know because this will affect when I decide to fly in, when I leave to come back home, when I get my room, it affects everything in that regard.

Sorry I’m still confused as to when we need a comic-con badge. Do you not need one for Saturday, but if you end up going to finals you’ll need a Sunday badge for Sunday? Or will you need a badge for Saturday and a badge for Sunday?
If The Finals are held inside comic con on sunday , im pretty sure all you will need is a pass for to enter evo AND watch the finals on sunday. hope someone can confirm.
