There are few US players that Yosuke doesn’t run rings around. The Japanese Arcade experience is especially strong in the Virtua Fighter series. I honestly would take advantage of it, if you can learn Virtua Fighter to the point where you can go 30%-50% win rate against Yosuke, you are probably pretty damn good at that point lol.
I think a lot of us are gonna pile into Chanchai’s place in SD (unless there isn’t enough space). If you feel like getting an hour of casual VF on the side we will probably be playing for like hours there outside of the tournament lol.
Third Strike is booked up for West, if players drop out or dont show up we will allow them to register in person on a first come first serve basis.
ouch, i had the feeling that was going to happen, but less than a week!!!
i’ll only be showing up to focus on ST so I won’t be playing anything else that might distract me. this will be the most challenging thing i’ve ever attended since all the WC OGs will be there, hungry to whup my ass. some apparently want to whup my ass IRL too :looney: so this should really be interesting.

Damn no more marvel and just today i ask for those days off to go to evo but now i woun’t get to play?.. Mr. Wiz is there a way you guys could charge just like other evo’s? People want to play and it sucks that some of us didn’t make the 128 player list and was there a limit on evo east? Is there anything you guys could do? Just let me know because finally i get to go to evo but i don’t get to play? :wtf:
i guess you guys should have taken the advice of Wizard a little more seriously…I mean you could have easily reserved a spot for Marvel even if you weren’t going…which is what I bet 90% of the people who reserved spots did. I guarantee if you show up, you’ll be fine, because there will be so many no-shows.
