good shit to all the qualifiers. i’m going to get a new stick for evoworld instead of borrowing sticks from people.

here’s some thoughts i had about evowest…it’s just meant for constructive criticism and nothing else…

-the marriot hotel was a nice location for evowest but there were somet things that the evo staff didn’t mention to the players. the parking fee and the ports on the tv being locked were really random. i don’t mind paying for parking but it would have been nice if we had a heads up about it.

-i understand the time constraints that happen during tournys and all but having certain games being only one match was pretty shitty. for example, when i made winners in cvs2, my first match in the semis was only one match but after a couple games it was changed to 2/3. i just found it unfair that i only had 1 match while other people got 2/3. this also applies to how ggxxslash took longer than expected and cvs2 getting shafted for that.

other than the that, the tourny was pretty fun. i liked all the setups for the games and the pools ran pretty fast. i appreciate all the work the evo staff did and the yaris was pretty nice.

Updates on the vids:

Marvel has been captured, intro screens been done, and now the compressing is what is left. However I forgot to shut off the data code (date/time) so it’ll show in the vids. Hope no one minds much, but if you do… too fucking bad. I’m not going to re-capture them so deal with it

On a good note: 3S will not have anything on the screen, so you’ll see nothing but what was recorded. Plus the commentary. They’ll be done by the end of the weekend.

For those of you waiting for your matches to be posted on the web (no fucking youtube) it’ll be soon (a lot sooner than what it took for the MvC2 DVD to be seeded, lol) Look for them on Preppy’s site.

I have upgraded since then, everyone must own a tv dinner table, perfect hieght set up for your controller!!! Dirty ma, good match in 3s. You finally took me out in a tourney when it mattered =D Keep that mentality going strogn in vegas.
