Congrats to my boy Finesse for getting 3rd at his first console tourney. He really trained hard to get where he got. He played some of the best matches seen at the Evo West Finals.

I actually didn’t mind it being console so much this time because of the good zuggzugg stick (shameless plug) I borrowed and because I played with the supposedly Gootecks invented style of putting the controller on a chair in front of me. Brilliant.

For DOA, I know for a fact that Sirlin got either 4th or 5th since somebody on DOACentral mentioned he beat Viziere. Dunno the others though.
And in GGXX, Hellfromabove/Fred/Mike Z finished 4th. Also I think I heard that def1n1tely/selfscience/??? got 5th and Heidern98/Scamp/??? got 7th, but don’t quote me on that.
Just a note, Thought is was awsome to see so many old skoolers at EVO West. Hope there will be some intense practice time before EVO Finals. Also, just wanna give props to a couple old skoolers that pulled out some great upsets and made some great plays.
Viscant - Props on your take down of Valle and Wattson, truly a great accomplishment. Hugely dissapointed you didn’t make it to the Finals, you should have.
Chen - Way to sneak through, great playing. That cammy was a dark horse and I took my match with you seriously.
Valle - Coming through and taken out some Vets. A big suprise, great play.
Seth K. - Good win against Choi, thought you had Valle too, tough one.
I’m looking forward to see who qualfies in Evo East. Some players not on the roster but that I will be looking for and hoping to see at EVO Finals.
Know these guys might not make it, but it would be a treat to see them show up and a boost for Team USA!

Wow, this tourney was amazing. Sorry for the fellows that got a room and couldnt play. 
The tournament room itself was very nice, and the marriot hotel was nice too. I learned a lot from playing everyone, and thanks to all. Congrats to all top 8 qualifiers, hope you guys do very well at evo vegas.

Evo Staff - Thanks for running this, but If i have to make a complaint, it was that CVS2 was only 1 game, when everything else was 2/3. Marvel takes just as long. And anything can happen in 1 game, its not accurate at all. That’s it, eveyrthing else was good shit.
