I JUST REMEMBERED!!! FANATIQ IS NOT USING 1 BUTTON DASH!!!

It is impossible to use one button dash on DC. If you go and try to switch buttons on DC you will see that you can do button configs like assigning certain buttons but no buttons together. That is only the PS2 version. I remember this because when I used to go to his house to play or we used to talk about it that was the only flaw. Yes, he does use 1 button dash on PS2 but cannot on DC even with the converter. Now that that is settled, what place did Illan get?

Fanatiq is right to use the one button dash. He is playing by the rules. He is playing to in. The complaint should be why Evo allows thjose shirtcuts, Everytime this argument is brought up, people who do not play the game say its absolutely impossible for the one button dash to make any difference. Well, Finesse, Chunksta, Infinite, Dark Prince, Duc, Clock and Soo are all out. Fanatiq is in winners. Take it as you wish.

BTW, I am not critcizing Fanatiq. He played on pad and without an assist. That sure takes skills, but the rules are weird IMO.

And how about those mirror money matches. I think JWong can take Illan out easily, and same against everybody but, maybe, Duc.

And the guy above me is mistaken. I am playing around with one button dash right now, on Dreamcast. Nice to do infinites, but hard to control space without an assist.

damn can’t wait for Super turbo to start.

I would love to see Valle take 3rd strike, man that would be awesome.

can’t you assign lp\hp to same button individually? i’m pretty sure you can do that and even if you couldn’t, you may be able to solder 2 individual wire connetions to 1 button but not sure on that. I don’t see why that wouldn’t work.

co-sign. Who the fuck said you can do that shit anyway? it wasn’t obviously a marvel player. Would the ST guru’s allow macro into ST for easy turn punch rog just because its a console toureny? it takes some skill out of the game.

In the DC version rather than assigning a button to a move like other games you assign a move to a button which makes it only one command for a button. On the note of soldering the wire; yes, that is what I was talking to him about but he said he wanted to keep it legit.

there is a lp+hp option in mvc2(DC) button config that can be assigned to 1 button to allow for 1 button dash.

hellfromabove: You can assign one button dash in marvel. You’re confused with the ps2 version, because in the ps2 version, you have two more buttons to use, so you could probably assign one button dashing while keeping the assist.

shoutzula: yeah in ST, you can use 1 button turn punches with rog lol, that’s why I use pad balrog.

damn

3s sounding mad hype this year.

he used a ps2 controller

Updated.
