I am not contesting Wong’s choice, but beyond compare seems too strong. Evo East happened in 2k7 and Yipes got 4th. I think Yipes is a real contender now, like Sanford is (at least when he plays home court), but Wong is still the favorite to ECC, NEC and what not. Wong has like 20 majors under his belt. Yipes is amazing, but now he will need to prove if he can keep it up (Duc couldn’t)

I’m really glad to see that mvc2 EVO list this year wasn’t all thrax or s\s like it was for EVO east. I was beginning to think that the style of play was going away from rush down to more of a zoning game but it looks like the rush down style is just as effective as ever.
