Well, sometimes with mas sticks it will say that a controller is removed even when it isn’t. I believe if it is a dual systems but I’m not positive. In those cases I think they should not be DQed.

Just in response to the Japanese giving up MvC2 because we whooped their ass…
50% of the fighting games Americans have grown up with are the marvel vs’s series, so there is a long history of americans playing that style of gameplay

I doubt the japanese would be as interested in 90’s based, marvel comic fighting games as Americans would who grew up reading marvel comics. The Japanese also had way more types of fighters in that ten year span so the marvel vs’s series games probably were not as big an interest to them especially considering it reveolved around foriegn characters they didnt know/care about.

That, and its not like they constantly play every other game. They don’t play the alpha/zero series that much there. They dont play most fighters unless its like, in sbo. They play it for a bit and then they move on. Very few games stick around for a long time in japan, and marvel wasn’t one of them. Had nothing to do with US being better. US is better cause people here are still playing it hardcore, but its not played in japan anymore cause they really dont have a reason to play it, what with it not being in sbo and all.
