I’m giving a presentation about competitive gaming in 2 days. I want to include an Evo trailer in my power point, but unfortunately I don’t have any of them saved, and I haven’t been able to find any offhand. Can anyone help a brother out?

If I remember right, 2k3 or 2k4 had the most off the fucking hizzle hype trailers ever so I’d definitely like to get a hold of the older stuff in order to comprehensively screen and present the best. hit me up on aim (defcon ronin) at any time with any leads. thanks.

There was one year where the trailer (or hype vid, since after watching 2k2-2k5 trailers, i think there were separate vids made for hyping the upcoming evo of that year), showed the flag of a country, then some top players repping, flag of another country, and more peeps reppin.

i want to say it was 2k3 or 2k4, but i really cant remember for the life of me. i do remember watching it and feeling an immense amount of pride at belonging to the fighting game scene; i’d like to get my hands on that clip again, screen it and use it as my attention getter. does anyone remember what evo and what clip im talking about?

I think you’re referring to the 2k4 dvd trailer. The one that had Daigo parrying Justin’s Chun ftw.

Nah, 4r5 upped that, and that wasn’t it. I remember the vid I’m thinking of being quite short, 1:30-maybe 3 minutes long.

I do love the 2k4 trailer tho and if i can figure out how to do some last minute ghetto video editing I plan to use the intro as my presentation outro.

your talking about the trailer with the jpn flag and the jpn players names fading in-out, then the american flag with the american players names fading in-out right? i think it was the 2k2 trailer, i m not sure though.

someone should upload that if they have it, the one with b boy sandstorm was hot too
