i think filipino champ would be a great asset to the team as he is very comfortable and CONFIDENT against many characters, particularly ryu/sagat/rog/gief. And chances are each team will have at least 3 of those character on their team. plus he is on fire lately, and can really gain, and keep momentum when the hype comes into play.

plus having him in the other teams ear when our other team members are playing is like the ultimate X factor.

oh and choi, we need you on that team. you are a huge asset for our team with your tournament experience, character, and play style.

But on the real tho, the 5v5 team needs as much variety as possible to pull it through in my opinion. I see some ppl talking bad about others of why should one be on the team if dey never won a tourney or placed high enough or being consistent here and dere. I’m hearing ppl say filipino champ should get the ‘last’ spot cuz he did well at local tournies, beat ppl in MM, and almost beat Jason Cole. Kaizer should get the spot cuz he placed 3rd one time at fudds and beat some ppl. With all dat aside, im just saying dont just consider what the person accomplished or almost accomplied “i.e: almost beat this top player” , but look at the character at choice and see what kind of an asset it would be towards the team. Having Andry’s viper on the team is gunna give the team the edge cuz of the limited match up experience ppl have against her and what kinda output she can deliver. I’m not gunna rant on about my self or nething like that cuz im not gunna self promote myself so I can get on the team or anything. And like i said before, variety is the way to go with creating the team.

For such a quiet guy, this man makes a lot of sense! He really puts it into the TEAM perspective, instead of just everyone playing for that last spot for their own sakes.

EDIT: If it does come down to characters, like Sosage said above, we currently have “Ryu, Boxer, Rufus/Chun, Viper”, assuming Mr. Choi does add his skills to the team. If he does, I think the team needs another strong base character. Sagat would be my choice, no matter who the hell it is.

also just want to mention that LPN did win the first fuddruckers tourney.

i think what he says is true, LPN has always placed well and has always been a challenge for a lot of people. The fact is LPN has worked a lot while some people have placed once and people are trying to base it of their one time high placing.

honestly just let LPN/RYAN/A_rival/NOT kaiser play for spots.
