can someone please post some detailed information on transportion from both of these airports:
JFK (in new york)
la guardia
i ask this because i don’t know which airport is better to arrive at… i want transportion to the hotel to be reliable and of course somewhat economical. i called the stamford westin and they said theres a guy that will pick you up and drive you, but this is his personal thang, kind of fishy…
also for that someone that mentioned the supershuttle, is that from the airport or do you have to arrange for them to come and pick you up?

Wow i heard about this late. So evo east is gonna be held up in my hometown huh. Well there are MANY hotels to stay in around stamford if you can’t get a night at the Westin. Other things to check out while in stamford…
Good bar scene blocks away from the hotel.
Couple Long Island Sound Beaches.

Ill be there considering its taking place blocks from my house. This is nuts though, never would I have thought it would be here. Also, the closest airport is the Westchester Airport (20-30min from stamford), but it is a little more expensive to fly in there, but much less hassle then JFK or Laguardia. So yeah, you want more info on the city hit me up.

seriously the hotel is nice but the area is pretty wack…that part of stamford is ghetto man…where the hell is there a bar anywhere near the hotel? or is it one of those dark dingy clubs…

The Westin is in the downtown area. or at least like 4-5 blocks from it. THAT area in particular is somewhat ghetto, but seriously you are like blocks away from the downtown area which has multiple clubs (Thirsty Turtle, Grand, Club Mor, i think there may be another one too) then you got pub/bar type places all within the same area (Bradfords has great beers on tap, Tiernan, Tigin, Brickhouse, Hula Hanks, a pool hall and im sure another like 5 bars) so yeah. It’s a big college town, so isn’t exactly that hard to meet some people at bars. See you all there.
