Pocket Monster (Pokemon) has outsold any Street Fighter Game by selling at least 1 Billion Copies PLUS Nintendo (much like SRK has adopted Smash Brother) is sponsoring huge amounts of money for it. Yes the theme is its all about cutsey little creatures and you fight with them but if you look past that its just as competetive as any fighter or FPS! Get out of your huge ego Phil seriously its getting old…its been old for years. I dont say shit about a GRWON MAN playing a OLD ASS Game so just chill bro! Play your game and stay in your box. Top level tournament street fighter is NOT for 8 year olds. Top level pokemon might not be for 8 year olds either. but in that case, why don’t you bring this to a Pokemon tournament instead of EVO? just kind of curious, it seems that more and more people are trying to turn EVO into a “casuals gaming convention” rather than a top level tournament. That’s a very small part of what EVO is really supposed to be all about.
I’m not complaining, I mean you’ll all be playing on DS and it won’t be hogging any TVs. I’m just saying, it’s just really really strange to me…this would be like me bringing my TV and 360 so we can have a Guitar Hero playoff or something. I just think you guys are taking games way too far…I could never be SO into video games that I’m dying to play 1000000000000 different games/styles of game every chance I get together with anybody who plays any type of game period. I guess that’s why I really don’t get any of the philosophy of Empire Arcadia…I mean, video games are an interesting part of life, but it’s not ALL there is to life for god sakes. Choose one game to play seriously and then do something else with the rest of your life…

emergency reg is held far as first post of this thread says friday and sat so im guessin that means if u wanna play whatever game that happens that day shin u have to do it that day , like Cvs2 for me obviously i would have to be there early friday to register.
but im saying like…i am already registered…and since i am i dont have to go to the emergency registration…i just wanna know if i need to go there the first day even though i am already registered?

Lv. 75 is a really bad idea on a week’s notice Kreymore. It would be a strain on me to raise a brand new team in that time, especially with EV training. Also, no official tournament is ever ran at that level. I have 60 Level 100’s and 40 ported in, I see no reason why I should not be allowed to use them. If people did not prepare, it’s their fault.
Might be up for Pokemon Money Matches (2v2 uber Lv. 100, Species/Item/Self Destruct clauses, No Arceus, No Hacked Stats) if people have their teams up to snuff. I’m sure you Empire guys want a little bit of revenge after your poor showing at JAA.

I don’ tknow basically i didn’t have enough money in my bank account for the registration and my friend couldn’t do it due to it not letting u register for anyone else buy urself, it kep givin me a hassle so ill have to wait till i get there to do it now =/ i hope i don’t get hell for this but i got a paper anyway with a conferm # on it saying i did register online some what like im paying when i get there ect

also, you only have to register once… you get a lil tag thing that goes around your neck and the people who are running tournies get your name and put you in your bracket and they tell you which bracket/area you are in.
