You’re probably thinking of my brother. He loves Athena and she’s pretty good in NeoWave too. His team is usually Super Cancel mode Athena, Kyo and another random character. I use a low tier ass team of characters like Terry, Chin, Iori or Shermie. I should practice JDing in guard cancel mode so I can punish some of Young Geese’s craziness.
Yeah…Young Geese is good but there’s ways around him. I dont have too much practice against him and haven’t really watched vids but guard cancel mode is good for punishing his specials. My bro probably has a better idea of what to do than I do. Japanese definitely knew how to fight him though cuz I would see him get beat.
