edit: If I’m looking at the right prices, it seems that the rooms aren’t as expensive as I thought they’d be. I could actually get my own room if I wanted, but then I wouldn’t have anybody to conversate with. :[

Letting people know that I’ve got a room reserved for 3 nights(Thursday, 5/24 thru Saturday 5/26). I’d like to have GG people and HNK people in it, but I’m open to some stuff, as long as you pay your share.

I’ve already got a room, and I haven’t played GG in months, but my buddy used to be sick. He’ll be there for the experience, not the tournaments, but I’m sure I can get him over to your room for some GG comp, and maybe I’ll bring my Chipp Zanuff along. Hit me up on AIM or by PM and we can try to arrange a meeting, although I won’t be getting there until Friday afternoon.

I booked my room today and the broad on the phone told me it would be $99 per night. When I asked for the EVO rate she said that was $105. Hell of a deal, haha. So obviously I took the $99. She said its a good deal because weekends are slow. And yes, it was the right hotel. Someone may want to take a look at that special rate. Anyone else have a similar experience? Maybe I just got a special rate because the chick wanted my shit…

IIRC that hotel adds charges for more people in the room, i think the special rate assumes max capacity (4, not 14), maybe wilson or wiz can clarify that.

iono last year i added two peolple to the list for the room and i got charged extra for it. im pretty sure the $105 is for 2 people occupancy. but seeing as how its not needed right now y ask for it if its cheaper not too.
Im gonna need someone to room with…certainly…so we can keep the SNK action running…

I told em 4, but they didn’t change the rate on me. It depends on who you talk to.
My advice? NEVER tell them more than 2 ppl. Most hotels offer flat rate no matter what as long as you don’t cause too much trouble.
