IIRC, there is no bypassing pool play this year. If you won a qualifier, you get preferred seeding.

lol. That’s so silly. For Justin/Daigo, it’s not even as if being seeded “in a pool” is cutting them a break. It’s cutting everyone else a break.It also makes some bracketing easier b/c you don’t have to worry about “pool of death” as much.
On the other hand, getting justin/daigo to play an extra 4 or 5 matches is VERY good for the hype machine that is EVO and the stream.
